Sorry, I'm not tech savvy enough to screen shot it, but there is an icon in the browser that is a lower case 'i' in a circle next to the web address. Click it and you can enable/disable a bunch of add-ons/whatever they're called.

I see that, mines already enabled and it still doesn't work.

Could it be the plugin someone made for this site that everyone started using once the site updated? I can't remember exactly what it does, something about the color orange lol that's all I remember

Sorry, no clue. It worked for me after I enabled, but I'm not a computer person at all. I've been having the same issue you described with tweets too. I have to click them to go to twitter or I only see half of them. Stupid technology. My phone, which is almost 2 years old, everything still works fine. LMAO.
 
If you're just trying to help people, I'll be in DC this weekend. Head down to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. It's a big house. Sometimes the gate gets stuck, so just hop right over. If anyone bothers you, just tell them Sy Eed sent you. They'll know who that is.
 
Verizon actually called me yesterday. My contract expired, been on month to month on the old plan for about a year

dude was hardcore trying to butter me up/sell me on the new plans/phones. I'm like 'bruh, I'm not going anywhere, I've had Verizon since like 06 and you're the only provider that works really well on base where I work'....

kinda wish I still had my Galaxy SIII (LG G3 now), that shit was amazing and never had issues.
 
This is weird. Maria supposedly spared St. Thomas the worst of its wrath (although it destroyed St. Croix, which Irma had spared, and Puerto Rico) but we can't get in touch with anyone. We were hearing back from people quicker than this after Irma. I assume it's just that the already damaged cell towers and infrastructure went down again, but I'd really like to get the 'we're ok' from everyone. There were apparently about 20 people headed to our house to wait out the storm. They probably just can't get out on the streets and I'm sure cell service is dead there. Still, uncomfortable until we get the thumbs up.
 
Lol, so almost immediately after I posted that, we got a call from the house saying everyone is fine. 16 people made it there for the storm and about half have left already to check on things. House got through fine, except the cisterns overflowed from all the rain and flooded one of the rooms because they were covered with fallen foliage and couldn't drain properly lol. They got that out immediately, so no worries and they definitely have plenty of fresh drinking water. Also there was so much debris from Irma that got smacked around that one outside wall will need a new paint job, but whatever. Nice to have mostly good news. Hope none of their homes had too much new damage, but no reports on that yet. They've been through way too much the last 2 weeks.

although i guess when you don't have electricity and modern industry, it's easier to 'rebuild'? new hut and you're straight haha

Pretty much. There are a lot of buildings, or at least the outer walls of buildings, from that era that were still standing when I was there last month (rock and concrete obviously, not wood). There is this one old Dutch customs house on a tiny little island near St. John that's been there since the 1600's. We always sail right past it when we're out on our friends' boat (RIP to the Nightwind). I'm really curious to see if it survived Irma. There are other buildings from that era I know Irma besmirched. Crazy that they can make it for this long and one storm just wrecks them.

I picked up an unlocked global LG G5 from B&H for $240. I still prefer Nexus/Moto pure android but this is a phenomenal phone. THe camera (actually two cameras) is ridiculous. Replaceable battery and sim card slot. Fast charge 3.

Also came with VR googles.

One of my good friends from high school had a kid when he was like 17, he still see's the kid and talks to the mom, but he's married, pretty successful and has 2 kids with his wife now that he's been with quite a few years.

He found out today that his baby momma from when he was 17, started dating a guy, and the guy took naked pics of his daughter and has been selling them.

I'd probably castrate that dude myself before I slit his throat.
