SBBC: I'll leave you in tatters

Aldo only fights twice a year.

He should move up to LW after his next fight.

Division is too thin.

What's wrong with fighting twice a year?

As a champ? Shouldn't fight more than that

Should fight 3.

Sport is dying when Swanson and Te Huna are headlining cards.

swanson is capable of headlining a free ufc card

te huna, not so much ...especially coming off 2 losses

Champs usually fight twice a year, but back then there was a bunch of interesting contenders, and exciting fighters.

Now it's just a bunch of scrubs, while we wait for a championship fight.

It's not Aldo's fault that Anderson and GSP both are out of the picture. He's the best guy in the sport, but asking him to fight every 4 months because the main draws fell off is absurd

If you're a champ, you should be fighting every ~6 months. Every 4 months is too much

will lol if mendes beats aldo

Then don't plan on loling

KZ/Cub would be so good. I've got KZ, the guy is legit

They're gonna roll Cub out against Aldo, though. Tonight made it definitive

I like Swanson he seems to really enjoy being in there. Those caporiera kicks were amusing.

I've seen his training ..dude does some crazy shit

Hah, well, if you like Capoeira, Cezar "Mutante" Ferreira would be the guy to root for, since he claims that Capoeira is his base ....but uhh.... yeah... it's pretty rare to see him throw anything from it lol. It's aggravating

Cub may throw other stuff (that I missed), but mainly, he throws the cartwheel kick, which was popularized by Saenchai, a legenadry Muay Thai fighter. Pettis threw the same kick against Cerrrone. It's used in Capoeira too, which shows the overlap in martial arts

(Pettis has thrown some shit that is solely Capoeira, though, in his WEC days)

If you're interested in a Capoeira kick that have been used in MMA, look into the Meia Lua. Dos Santos used it to toast Hunt. Vitor used it to toast... I think Rockhold? They call it the "wheel kick"... but I mean, it's a major kick in Capoeira. And hah it's not surprising that both of those guys are Brazilian.

What's funny is that I trained Capoeira for about 6 months, and there were three major things I took out of it. 1) Footwork, 2) their front kick, and 3) the Meia Lua. This was back in 2009. The Meia Lua is a serious fucking kick, and I knew it'd be a factor in MMA

Personally, I like Aldo but he's played it safe so much since the WEC days. i'm a Weidman guy. i Think he's the most interesting champ left in the UFC.

Mendes has a legit shot against Aldo

Riff Raff is like the T-1000 version of Vanilla Ice.

He looks like a failed government experiment to spy on *****s in the Magnolia Projects... In 1998.
