Never thought Larry David was funny at all. Could never get through a full episode of that show without changing the channel out of boredom.
You have to like your humor awkward and dry, it's not for everyone. A lot of the times the pay off for a joke can the entire episode to come around too. I usually alternate it with It's Always Sunny in my comedy slot so I don't get tired of it.

I have no problem with awkward comedy. I loved the original 'The Office' from England with Ricky Gervais and it was nothing but moments intended to make the audience squirm in their seats. I just get bored of Larry David looking for ways to be annoying. Show would have been much better if he were in it a lot less. Most of the other characters were solid.

I also like It's Always Sunny, but don't watch it that often. I like about 95% of things Danny Devito is involved in whether as an actor or director. He's truly one of the GOATs.

Less of a guy in a show that is based on the guy you want less of? This almost sounds like a Seinfeld sales pitch.

Seinfeld was only good because they focused so much more on George and Kramer (and the recurring characters). Seinfeld was the least interesting and least entertaining character on the show.

Was just about to say this. Jerry was the core of the show, but it was always carried by the other characters.

George was essentially a less realistic. (and way better) version of Larry David. I figured anyone who liked George would also like Larry David. Tbh, I havent watched nearly as much Curb as Seinfeld but I've liked what I've seen.

Bring back Kramer to do a sitcom with Leon. That will put butts in seats

I agree with that first sentence entirely. I don't think I could watch a solely 'George Costanza' show either, but it would be better than Curb.

it's always good going back to see the silent rage in the actor that played Kramer, it's really evident in the outtakes

I think he was trying to so hard to maintain that character, that the adlibs and other things pissed him off.

Cracked.com did a whole video on it, it's pretty obvious once you know to look for it

Pretty obvious once you know to look for it and the video is editted down to a compilation of frustrations over the course of 20 years...sounds pretty obvious...if you know.

Probably why he went on that racist rant. Had a lot of pent up rage. I love Chappelles bit on it.

I didn't say "genius" level, but an IQ above 100 is certainly a plus.
I don't know about that. The stupidest girl I ever dated loved that show (only reason I saw it more than once) and I'd be shocked if she tested above 70. Nice tits, but she had to go.
