Liver? Forget it. 400 different functions and counting IIRC. Outside of the brain stem it's pretty much the only irreplaceable organ to keep you alive.

Have you ever seen the dialysis for the people who have trouble with veins or pulling blood or clotting? They stick a valve into the stomachs of what are usually fat fucks, and then they fill their peritoneal cavity with sterile solution. Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Many liters of ifluid are used and their stomachs distend to disgusting proportions. Then you just wait for osmotic pressure to move urea and other waste into the peritoneal cavity and after a few hours you drain it using the valve in the patient's stomach.

The whole concept is absolutely disgusting.

DUDE! I am loving this Ravens team so far, I feel like our defense is better and Flacco will be better/more consistent with Marty for another year. The offense was playing well to end the year. We need linemen and a receiver, but, I feel good about this team.
