My uncle plays softball and plays a lot of cornhole (bags), and he's going to hook me up with a team out there to play, I'm also really good at cornhole lmao.


Idk about my grandma, one of the main reasons I told my uncle that I need a good amount of time to get things straight, i've been staying with her 3 nights a week now and basically completely taking care of her.

Either someone else is going to have to finally step up, or I'm going to have to call my Uncle in Texas she used to live with and figure something out, she can't take care of herself but she's also showing no signs of passing anytime soon and I'm not going to spend the better part of my 20s and early 30s being a live in nanny/ass whiper, I know that's harsh but I got a life to live.

If it weren't for the fact she hates my fucking mom, it'd be easy, but that relationship can't be mended so that is probably going to be the hardest part out of all of this, tbh.
 
My grandma will not care tho, in her mind she is completely fit to live on her own, she hasn't come to terms with the fact her mental capacity is failing dramatically.

So, it won't hurt her feelings or anything, which will make it easier I guess, but I know she needs someone here that is willing to take care of her and I don't know who that's going to be because ever since she moved back about 3 years ago, it's been me.

Depending on grandma's income there are different government programs that can help with day to day shit. The idea was to keep people in the community instead of nursing homes. In home providers that come for a set number of hours per week to help around the house and a bunch of different shit like that. If you look around you can find that info. But if grandma has some bank then she has to pay for that shit out of pocket until it makes her poor enough to qualify for those types of programs.

Her financial situation is good, problem is she's very independent and doesn't trust anyone.

She already had a government worker that my uncle hired and my grandma basically told her "Stop treating me like I'm fucking stupid and fuck off", but with much nicer language.

It's hard to explain how she is, because she's a really nice person if you never met her you'd probably think nothings wrong with her, but that's because she only says crazy shit around people she's comfortable with. She will lose her check book or a spoon and she'll come up with a conspiracy theory about how someone broke in and stole silver ware.

Probably some prime Co-ed softball teams with all the corn fed ladies in Indiana. All with field plowing calves.

I don't like co-ed unless I'm playing a tournament with girls that are actually good.

On league nights, there will be girls that are really shitty and I've legit seen some almost die from line drives because their dumb ass teammates will put them at 1st or 3rd and put them in harms way.

But in tourneys, I've seen girls that played D-1 ball who will legit hit home runs, last tournament I played they had a chick from Team Mizuno who was a conference player (gets paid to play) and she hit 3 home runs against us and she wasn't even a dike, she was like 5'9 130 pounds and kind of hot, I was super confused.

I deal with this exact type of situation regularly. Hope you can find someone locally to keep tabs on her while you do what you gotta do for yourself. But, if you can check in on her over the phone then that would be good. If you ever suspect that shit is going too far south then you can still do things being out of state to make sure she is alright. Nobody likes having the government involved in their life, but sometimes people end up needed to be protected from themselves.
