People are quick to forget shit from 4 years ago. This just goes on delusion that he has. This guy should have left WWE when he was unhappy with them in 2011 when he was in his early 30s. Trained in MMA in secret and see if he has any talent for it. If not, he could go back to prowrestling. When people talk about him fulfilling a dream. That's utter bullshit. He was unhappy in WWE in 2011 but he stayed on another 3 years because they threw stupid cash at him and gave him one of the longest title reigns ever. Money is not everything. If he had a passion for mma he should have quit the wwe back then and not care how much money they throw at him and train in secret and maybe even only work a part time Lesnar type schedule in WWE with sporadic appearances and matches. But train full time in MMA for a year to 18 months. Then ask your trainers, hey am I any good at This?

See he signed with UFC without ANY training at all. People even speculated he wasn't even going to take the walk to fight mickey Gall. Punk backed himself into a corner by signing a UFC contract without any serious mma training. So in a sense, he couldn't back out now. Where as if he trained in secret, Duke could have given him an honest assessment and tell the guy "you're not very good at This, but if you HAVE to fight, get a couple fights on the regional circuit". (Which he would most likely lose) Punk is very fake humble. I can't stand the guy. And I wish after being embarrassed twice, one by a legit fighter, and one by a journalist. You would think he would become real humble. He's not. I feel it's still fake humble BS.

Um no, he came from a mixture of rassling and shoot fighting starting in 1988 in some weird territory and then the Japanese UWF, and then some other Jap org all long before UFC 1. Funaki, Suzuki and Shamrock set up Pancrase which was a variant of MMA and rassling before UFC 1.

Also Ken went back to wrestling in WWE for a solid stint.
