That what's I thought. Their media is considered more credible than the media of the other Arab countries which have basically zero credibility and they're more willing to criticize the rest of the Arab world.

Kind of how like RT will make legitimate criticisms of America and Europe but won't make a sound on anything that would reflect badly on Russia. You won't hear many stories on Al Jazeera that reflect poorly on Qatar and I believe they even covered the uprising in Bahrain cautiously when compared to the uprisings in other countries.

They definitely have an agenda but as far as I know they generally translate material from major publications from the Arab world. It would be like translating FOX News into another language over MSNBC. Sure its not the whole picture but FOX is a major network and the views expressed on it are reflective of the view points of a non-negligible portion of Americans.
