There was another guy who tried suing them too for his screenplay.

I haven't read her treatment but I'm guessing its face level type similarities. Either way its kinda sad spending almost 40 years trying to sue instead of continuing to write other stuff.

An actual example in which a settlement was given was in the case of Dodgeball (ben Stiller movie) in which a guy wrote a similar script that the writer for dodgeball may have reasonably had access to.
