San Diego vs. Sharia

I'm smack dab in the middle of little Baghdad myself.
my younger brother lives in lakeside, and he was wounded by insurgents in the Iraq War

he's not a huge fan of east county currently haha

Its a dogshit religion full of :eek::eek::eek:philes, just like Catholicism. Religion is antithetical to learning. It is offensive to rational thought. These are tax-exempt :eek::eek::eek:phile schemes.

No stitch of any religion should be allowed anywhere near any public school in any form, and people who push this boundary should be locked in prison.
woah. you actually said something rational for once. you should try that more often

Maybe you can tell that to the guy who got tossed off the building because he was....oh wait...

Having sex with other men is a choice.

This is why you've got to get out of liberal cities. Your kids will be told to bow and bend to appease Islam

It may be listed as "democrat" (not sure, haven't checked in a while), but San Diego has always been a pretty conservative city - there's a lot of military here, as well as some pretty wealthy areas (Rancho Santa Fe - which is the richest suburb in America, La Jolla, Poway, etc.) - which usually lean Republican.

Yeah, it's a strange dynamic for him I'm sure, hope he's OK now. Thanks for your and your brother's service and God bless.

San Diego is still largely a moderate or Conservative city, as others have pointed out largely due to the high COL and military presence

but it's also extremely diverse with only a plurality of whites as the 'majority', followed pretty closely by hispanics

it's really bad, especially in the El Cajon area

San Diego is, by far, the number one location of refugee settlement in the last 15 or so years (for the US). I'm from there, and i'll say this, nobody cared when it was Asian refugees mainly.....

I live in San Diego and the cost of living is one of the most expensive in the country - especially housing.

How and where are all these refugees living? I've never seen them...

I mean Rancho San Diego (kind of El Cajon - East County) has a large Chaldean population, who are Arabic Christians, but they certainly aren't Muslims, and definitely aren't refugees.

Well this pro Islam crap is progressive. So I hope the citizens of San Diego tell these PC school administrators and politicians to take that pro Islam crap back to the middle east.

The old slippery slope argument, for those that don't have a real argument.

No, it's progressivism. Get what you can get, little by little progressively over time. It doesn't seem like much as it happens, most people don't notice any changes. But with each new precedent the goal posts move further and further. How do you think we went from a white, conservative, Christian nation, to a multicultural, diverse, pluralist nation?

It didn't. Only the white christian conservatives like to pretend that what the country once was.

You guys are being entirely over-dramatic. San Diego isn't like that at all.

It's incredibly expensive to live here - there is no huge influx of Iraqis here.

Maybe in some shit-hole little apartment complex you lived in?

Jesus, you people need to go outside and get out of your safe spaces.

All of them? Don't steal, don't do drugs, don't kill, don't cheat, etc
I agree with you. I was referring also to sharia laws that also punish for sins of morality. Even though I believe adultery is wrong, I don't think that should be punished by throwing the person off a building.

Blasphemy!

http://www.kpbs.org/news/2013/feb/22/san-diegos-somali-population-explained/

"How did such a large population of Somali refugees, the Nations second largest, end up in San Diego to begin with? With such a high cost of living...refugees who are expected to start from scratch with an $1,100 check from the U.S. government...family. The cornerstone of immigration especially for refugees is family unity."

I'm not sure exactly how many refugees have been settled in San Diego total or compared to other places, but it's certainly a fair amount. With a lot of struggling native US families, who could use help, I think it's definitely an issue to discuss.
