Samuel Peter vs. Jameel McCline, broken down...

Thanks for the couple of kinds words.

Blowhole? Fuck man, small world indeed. My ex and I went down there a couple of years ago on this weekend and we had a great time...so I'm heading back there with the family for a week this time. Should be ok.

And Peter v TOney II? I dunno. Jameel is going to pose a different look entirely I think.

Yea, small world indeed. I went down for a day to Kiami the week before I headed back to the good old US of A (well, I hit NZ in the middle, but whatever). It's a cool little coastal city, nice seafood I remember.

What I meant by Peter/Toney II is Sam winning a decision vs a relatively non-mobile guy.

Jameel is up to get kayoed but he hasn't got anything to lose here either.

Walking, talking, holding each other, Blowing, %$#@ man, small world indeed. My ex guy and I went down there a couple of years ago on this weekend and we had a great time...so I'm heading back there with the family for a week this time, hope they don't disown me. Should be ok.
Dude, I don't like all this gay talk around here. You still skinny and blotchy? How is that new HIV medicine working for you?

I am by far more excited about Tam-Tam stopping back here than I am about Samuel Peter vs. Jameel McCline.

If McCline goes out on a stretcher due to some hamstring injury or something, I'll die.

I thought(was hoping) he died a slow painful death out in the outback. I heard he was sick and rehabing though. Maybe he'll get back harder on the booze/drugs and OD. ONe can only hope. Only the good die young ....with that said...he will probably live a long life and be the last guy on this wretched forum.

I think we could be in for a surprise. Peter could go the way of the last interim champion...

what if he isn't carried out on a stretcher, but a gurney? haha.

and tam, the long time posters around here love you, don't be a stranger and didn't even know you were sick, but glad to hear you're feeling better.

I'm surprised the Peter/McCline bout rescued Tam's soul from the void and returned him to us unharmed (If Rahman fights soon, we may lose him again rather quickly, so be prepared).

Anyway, I agree that it's a decision win for Peter. McCline may be old and worn, but he's not that easy to KO.

he'll get KOed if he's intimidated.

McCline is a ponderous heavy that lacks confidence and a big punch and has shown that his body will let him down. I see no way he beats Peter, unless Sam comes in totally out of shape. If he is in good condition, I feel Peter will just walk him down with power shots and TKO him mid fight, either with a clean punch or with McCline quitting due to injury. Peter is too strong, has way more power and a way better chin than Jameel, if the last Toney fight showed anything, it also showed Peter may have far better skills than McCline also.

conventional wisdom dictates that Mccline is a tamato can for Peter to run over and look impressive. However anything can happen and with two big punchers, anyone can get KO'd. However I still like Peter. After all he outboxed one of the best boxers in the Heavyweight Division twice to get to this position. Peter has the skills, the chin, and the power to sweep the division. I predict the "Nigerian Nightmare" era.

I agree with most what you say, but Wlad couldn't knock out Peter and he hits harder than McCline. I can't see Jameel having a punchers chance here.

The only time I've been impressed with Mccline was the time he woke up in the 10th round against Charles Shufford? for the KO win.
