Food & Drink Sam Adams new Beer sells for $240

I don’t know. Anyone I know that has tried it says it’s not that great. I’m not a beer guy so I couldn’t provide any input out of what I’ve been told by friends.

What I do know is that kind of price would get me a whole lot more of Tito’s which I love, and would fuck me up a whole lot nicer, without the headache.

It isn't beer. I think it's excellent. I've known people to spend thousands on vintage PVW bottles or wine. Not necessarily my jam at that cost. I think Utopias is as good, but it's all relative. It's just what you prefer. I've spent $400 on a single DBA 12 ounce bottle of beer that is incredibly rare a few years back when I got a mid five figures bonus from work. It was worth every cent.
What was the $400 beer? I had a bunch of stuff I had planned on maybe re-selling, but ended up drinking them once they hit the 5-6 year mark.

I know a Chinese guy that buys wine at those prices and higher. He is generous at sharing. I haven't thought the wines at that price tasted all that different from the inexpensive wines but it is something he enjoys doing, collecting expensive wines, and then telling us the story behind the wine. .

I don't know of any beer connoisseurs but it wouldn't surprise me if there were some out there.

I bought a 2007 release and didn't get around to opening it until 2010. It had soy sauced.

In the least, it worked very well as an ingredient for a mushroom/garlic deglaze sauce when cooking some Iowa chops.

Speaking of Sam Adams, their remastered Boston lager tastes like the original Fat Tire.

30% isn’t beer. It’s an expensive bottle of liquor.
