Only 7 more to go to tie his UFC record.

War Sam.

As long as they go back to feeding him cans like Spong that won't happen.

LOL told you he only beat the shadow of the shadow of Tyron Spong. He is not even on the striking level to go for try out to be on the smalles K1 show ever on the lowest undercard spot. Dude is average. No hate. But c mon. Tyron didn´t train for that.

Spong is a better fighter than everyone in your bloodline combined since before Christ. Keyboard warrior. He came to pick up a check and trained for 2 weeks. After being retired for a decade.

Alvey owns his soul, forever and always. Dude roided out and still got sparked by Smile'n.

Alvey is a nobody. He owns brain damage and a losing record. Tyrone was retired for a decade and trained 2 weeks for him. It's like saying Denis Siver owns Bj Pens soul. Alvey is a can who got to take 8 losses in a row for kissing the UFCs ass. I don't got anything against Sam just whoever bashes K1 is a keyboard warrior and deserves to get spit on.

I wish that was directed at me, I would have come back with my cousin is Gerry Cooney.

Karate Combat might never promote another show. They’re in serious financial trouble, with fighters claiming non payment
That sucks to hear. I was curious how they were paying the bigger name guys. Guess I have my answer.

That would be sad.
I'd bet that Bas on the roll was half of their cheque.

Never understood who owns it (though co-founded in 2018 by Robert Bryan and Michael DePietro). I know it is a subsidiary of Sensei Foundation BVI, a trust established in the British Virgin Islands. But this weird token Community Governance: In a move to a community-driven model, the league introduced the $KARATE token in May 2023, allowing fans and athletes to participate in governance voting and key league decisions through a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) model.

Plus funding from several investment firms, including lead investor BITKRAFT Ventures, Alpha Wave Global, and others.

The whole show seemed suspicious with how much money they were paying athletes despite no clear source of revenue. Their last card was delayed quite a few hours before finally starting, and the primary talk was that unpaid workers opted not to set up the pit.

If KC falls where will the fighters go? And Bas?

Of course he trained, didn't you follow his camp?
Some of his fans even went as far as to say he overtrained, to justify his defeat. I guess "he didn't even train, just rolled out of bed" also has a nice ring to it.

Also, I can't help but be remembered that when the fight was announced, you said, and I quote:
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Serves Sam right for calling himself one of the best in the world. Saw it in IG. Lost like 7 UFC fights, wins 1-2 Karate Combat.

Cool to see Tyron back. Special talent. Sam is alright. No chance for Sam. [...]This just a easy opponent good pay opportunity.
Plus, Spong was in top form, strong mentally, physically and emotionally, Imma let give the mic to the man himself =>

“I just feel I’m not done yet, you know? I’m physically, mentally still in it,” Spong said.
“Obviously, I’ve been doing it for over two decades and a lot of fights, a lot of fights, a lot of fights. I just needed a break. Life happens, things happen, you focus on other business, try to get some stuff going because as we know you can’t keep fighting forever.

No matter how blessed or gifted you are, with a good athletic body, physical traits, there’s going to be a time where you either just don’t want to do it no more or can’t do it no more. I took that time off to focus on other aspects in life that needed some attention.”

On top of that, watching his 16-year-old son fall in love with the art that has made his father so popular around the world was decisive to “awaken the competitive drive” in his heart.
Crazy to still be in his prime at 40, but Smilin Sam is also 40 and determined to win despite his heavy underdog status,

My man Smilin' Sam beat the brakes of Tyron Spong and makes me a rich(er) sherdogger , so now the strategy is that Spong actually didn't have enough time to properly train to prepare for an elite karateka in his prime like Sam Alvey, that you previously thought to be a can that stood no chance against such a special talent like Spong, no matter the circumstances?

What a fight, is there anything Smilin' Sam can't do while chain-smoking cigars?
