Ryan Hall's NEW DVD'S *Yep,

I'm gonna go ahead and take indirect credit for this, since I once messaged Ryan on facebook telling him it would be awesome if he did a guard passing DVD some time.

It's ok. I know you're all grateful.

The issue is I'm a student. Would have to grab a loan of somebody first (mum, girlfriend etc) to get even just one.

As a student you should sell your body to the night. Dump your gf and get a cougar who can make you a nutritious meal every once in a while and buy you instructional DVD's, bus cards and other useful gifts.

And I really wish this was offered as a digital DL/or app as well :/

Ryan Hall's DVD's are always excellent and have all his other sets but sadly neither one of these really interest me.

He doesn't blink enough in thr Inverted Guard DVD set. I'll stick with the Guard Passing DVD.

I'm just gonna post the chapter list for each DVD

For those who have already bought this, is WMA shipping this immediately? Or are these preorders?

So guys. I can only get one.

Which do you think is going to be the most important of the two?

I'm leaning towards guard passing.

They usually ship the same day you order, as long as you order before the afternoon. Last year I had the arm triangles set overnighted and I had it the day before Thanksgiving. These Hall DVDs always come out on the Monday or Tuesday of Thanksgiving week.

I can only get one at the moment, and I'm getting the guard passing. I can't say what's better for you, but I know for me that the guard passing one is going to be very helpful for me right now. If you have his back attacks or arm triangles sets than the guard passing set will be worth even more.

as soon as I saw the passing DVD I immediately got a boner and used it to click "order"

black friday is sickkkkkkkk boiiiiii

BruceLeeMMA - my shipping said Express delivery, two day air..

Hmm so you'll get it before Thanksgiving. I wonder if I order today if that will still hold true. If you order tommorow for sure you wouldn't get it till Monday.

.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to get it now then rather then wait till later in the week. Was trying to wait to see what other black friday sales were going to happen (like Budovideos, etc).

I just ordered and they only had a 2 day shipping option, but if you ordered today you would probably have it on Friday. You could always call and ask to have it overnighted, a lot of companies will do that.

Couldn't resist his guard passing DVD at half off. He's such a great instructor.

I have back attacks and have seen the first disc of arm triangles. I think guard passing is going to be more useful. Everyone has to try to pass the guard at some point, but not everyone has to use the inverted guard. It's less specific.

Guard passing DVD looks outstanding. Not to be a broken record, but this may finally be the top-level guard passing set in the gi that the market has never had. Cross fingers.

Inverted guard DVD looks somewhat peculiar. 2/3 of the set look to be about playing cross guard, and 1/3 is inverted spider ... the kind of inversion I have much use for. That one is a pass for me.

Man honestly if Ryan Hall does another DVD set next year I would really enjoy a Jiu-Jitsu for MMA set. There's nothing like that out there right now, and Hall has a lot of great insight on grappling for MMA. Obviously I'd support whatever set may come out in the future, but I would be most excited for a MMA grappling set.

That would be awesome. I would buy anything Hall releases. Like every great teacher, he inspires you to explore different areas of learning.
