Ryan Hall trashes on Joe Rogan's commentary

Sounds like Ryna Hall should go to Joe's gym then and Joe can teach him. Straight grappling I think Joe pwns this scrub.
hall plays with rogan, puttin his nuts in his face and all kinds of shit.

Well autism is a sliding scale. Asperger's is starting to get replaced with the term autism spectrum.
There are huge differences in function within that scale.

My point is YOU can't begin to diagnose whether someone is on the spectrum based on tweets and soundbites. (The fact that you called him both snarky and autistic is one clue.)

But it's common for anyone that's weird/quirky/jerkish/etc to get labeled autistic here on Sherdog. Not saying you've done it before, but plenty of others have. Just a minor pet peeve of mine.

Also, you aren't using 'sliding scale' correctly - unless you mean that what wasn't considered autism a few years ago is happily diagnosed as on the spectrum these days. But that's not the definition of a sliding scale anyway.

I find it kind of funny that he would say something like that because if it was Rogan who was commentating on his last fight, he probably would've defended his tactics.

basically you have to nut, convulse your hips like you are in the process doing so, no holds barred.

U asshole Ryan Hall. Why don't u try to commentate next to Goldie then we can see how boring you look then.

Ryan hall is lying through his teeth. He knows exactly what rogan was saying. He's salty about his performance and the reaction it got so he's blaming anyone he feels could have affected that.

Rogan didn't call his fight.

So..yeah, id take halls word for it.

I first heard the term "exploding" in Jr. High wrestling 20 years ago in regards to people on bottom being held down. I've trained at the Lab for 4 years and have heard people say "explode" numerous times in the gym when coaching people on bottom. I'm a nobody and know the term lol, it ain't like it's a new term. Ryan Hall's accomplishments don't all of a sudden negate a term that's been used for decades in grappling and is well known because he wanted to make a douchey tweet.

I don't really know what "word for it" you're taking, but dude was legitimately being a douche, he knows what it means.

Can be completely destroyed via this:

Stop being a fanboy Final Say.
I'm the last guy who's a fan boy of anyone on this site.

Don't be stupid.

It's all situational. Sometimes all you can do is explode because you're at such a disadvantage in skill/position. Other times the guy is stronger but in a worse position and you can use technique.

Your boy @ArtOfDrowning should know that too

Usually when joe says 'he needs to explode here' it's in a time where the fight is getting out of reach. Kind of the same as saying 'pull out all the stops, go balls to the wall, kill or be killed'.

Is there an example of a colour commentator who is vastly superior to Joe Rogan? Rogan is not perfect, but he is not as terrible as some people say.

He's not terrible at all to me to be honest.

People here act like they're from the future where robots do commentary with zero mistakes, zero emotions, and zero natural bias.

No he isn't as bad. He is worst.

"Get outta there Alan. Don't let him do this to you!"
Rogan's commentary is outstanding. It would suck without him.

Nobody says perfect every time they open their mouth. Ryan Hall is right but Rogan is still awesome.
He sucks.

"Cerrone has never faced a legitimate 170 pounder". Say what?

No, he doesn't suck.

You're an uneducated spoiled brat fan is all.

I watched Joshua in the boxing last night before watching 206. The thing that the boxing guys seem to realise is that we're watching the fight, it's not on the radio so they don't need to talk all the time, I can see what's happening.

Goldie and Rogan would be better if they stfu a bit more. Hearing Rogan make weird noises when he thinks strikes have hit when they've clearly missed is just annoying. The best fights for me to watch now are TUF ones where there's no commentary but I can still hear what's going on in the cage, corner and crowd (although there isn't really one for TUF fights).
