Yes but up until the point where Topuria started pounding Hall into unconsciousness, arguably the most impactful strike of the round was one of Hall's spinning kicks

He probably saw it as reasonably well because he wasn't getting his face caved in for the majority of the fight.

He was missing shots, but he wasn't getting punished for them every time.

Maia comes to mind as well. It was heartbreaking watching him spam the single leg with no success for his last fight.

Imagine age and athleticism plays a big role in their inability to score these takedowns but you would think grappling to the point of being a master, you would have at least a couple more different ways to try to get the fight to the mat.

Tough to watch.
