Ryan Hall fans are ridiculous/deluded

I'd like to see him against Bryan Ortega or Kron Gracie. But yeah, from what I've seen its pretty clear he's not one of the best fighters. He wants to fight a top ranked name in the division, but isn't willing to work his way there like everyone else. What incentive does Jose Aldo or KZ have to fight someone like him? To me, it seems like he's trying to face the few people in the top 1-10 that are clearly on the decline so that it will boost him up artificially.

I seriously doubt he has Khabib's wrestling or TDs. And if he can't get elite-level opponents to the ground, he won't have the success Khabib's had. Since Sakuraba figured out the Gracies in the mid-90s, we've seen numerous "BJJ wizards" try MMA. None have had Khabib's success because they lack his wrestling.

Maybe the UFC should do a cross-promotion with Bellator and let Hall fight Brent Primus. Both are 36, have 10 or fewer fights and are well-known submission specialists. I just don't get these kind of fighters...you don't get better with age, especially in the lighter weight classes. Go ahead and fight already.

Yeah, people talked about he and Kron fighting, but Kron has been MIA for almost 2 years. Neither of them fight much. Plus Kron gave Cub Swanson a chance to end his 4-fight losing streak. Not really a good look.

It's their job nonetheless....and these guys take a big risk. They typically retire from MMA in their 30s and don't have good employment prospects with "full-time cage fighter" the only thing on their resume for 10-15 years. They need to fight when they can.

I respect Kron for stepping up and testing his skills though, against someone who was dangerous but not ranked as high.
