This will be the first movie I’ll watch in theaters this year which is crazy given I’m a big ‘going to the movies’ guy

Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan have been a great duo onscreen. Fruitvale Station was a phenomenal debut by Coogler and Creed was excellent. Black Panther was obviously a box office smash and put Coogler and Jordan as official stars not forgetting the late Chadwick Boseman.

I’m really exited to see this movie given the chemistry and success they’ve had in the past. Horror vampire flick set in the 1930s South is going to be interesting.

Anybody else plan on checking it out?

Jordan is playing 2 lead roles as twins too.

Anyone caught it? Worth watching or nah? I keep getting ads for it.

Steinfeld is very cute for sure.

Saw previews. Doesn’t look interesting at all.

Why don’t you like Mike?

As far as celebrities go, he seems like a decent guy and a good actor. Been watching him since The Wire. He’s paid his dues
I don't think he is good, and there is just an annoying thing I can't put my finger on. He seems whiny? There a few that just irk me--him and Miles Teller come to mind.

Now Miles Teller I can understand from his screen presence to his interviews lol

He was incredible in Whiplash though. Gotta give credit where it’s due

Early reviews are saying this is great as it is a fresh idea with good execution. I think it's out on the 18th so I'll check it out.

I do wish the advertising would use a different trailer though, I've seen the same one nonstop, for commercials, at the theater, online advertising.

Yeah I hear you

They probably just don’t want to give away too much more before the movie premieres

If I go to the cinema this month it'll be Sinners or Havoc I think, probably Sinners.

25 minutes were shot in 70mm IMAX btw. So might be worth seeking a compatible screen.
