Russian vs Mexican UFC curse

Stop talking bullshit that everyone knows.
You can be called Mexican if you're from Mexican descent and that's exactly what I meant
Sure, but some of those "Mexicans" might be offended. They will tell you that they are not Mexican, but their parents are. They refer to themselves as latino or hispanic.

I don't give a damn about American identity problems. I can call Mexican a Mexican even if he lives on the freaking Moon. Cain barely speaks Mexican, but there is a huge tattoo all over his chest.
(Yes I know it's Spanish)

You sound antagonistic, no wonder that they want to build a wall.
I call things for what they are, and we are talking nationality here (i hope), Yair is the only Mexican listed there.

Spanish people would be considered white. See what happens when you try to put it all in categories. Or is white English speaking. Light skinned mexicans got that spanish blood, so you see were all this is going. Will this shit get me yellow carded? My racial background, china, spain, portugal, Ireland,Germany. Please call me an American.

Why do you even bring this?!

Depends who you are talking too, legit Mexican people from Mexico will look at someone like Nate, Tony or Frank and say they are not Mexican, they are American. Being "Mexican" is kind of a weird idea, it's not really viewed fully as a race thing but also culture and nationality has a lot to do with it.

the Pettis (Perez) brothers, Ferguson, the Diaz's, Cejudo are as mexicans as the risotto pasta.

Being proud of your ancestry, or repping it, doesn't make you from that country. I'm Italian. My grandfather was born in Italy, but came here at the age of 6 or 7. He considered himself American. So much so that he joined the Marines and fought for the US. So yeah, I'm Italian by blood, but I'm American. Italians from Italy wouldn't consider me "Italian", they would call me American. Same with black people, Mexicans, Chinese, etc.

Your bloodline doesn't equate to nationality, and most people aren't even sure of their genetic makeup and historical bloodline anyway. They just repeat what they've been told by their parents or grandparents, which is what they were told by their parents and grandparents, and blah blah blah.

Italian-American, African-American, Mexican-American, and whatever other hyphenated classification is chosen is essentially just a way to honor your supposed bloodline while being American.
