In the video, they do things like play catch, the bear will sit on the couch while they watch TV and even sit at the table when it's time to ear. The description in the video also says the bear will help out around the house by watering the plants although I don't think that was shown in the video.

Bears are beautiful, majestic animals. And I wouldn't get that close to one unless the clothes I was wearing had been designed by Tony Stark.

That bear appears to be missing it's claws and teeth. The circuses used to do this with bears in the 1900's, so they could use them in their act.
