And how would he accomplish it? NATO even without America has a far superior military. UK and France have hundreds of nukes. Russia can barely even fight with Ukraine. Putin doesn't have the ability to conquer Europe. Anything suggesting that he does in an attempt to justify our intervention is no more than fearmongering. Putin, even if he wanted to be, is not a threat to Europe, and certainly could do nothing to America.

The only way he could hurt NATO is a nuclear exchange. Cornering him makes that far more likely than it would otherwise be

At the time of the invasion, Russia was the 2nd best military on the planet. That's what we ALL thought. We had no idea of the graft and theft that became part of the Russian war machine after Putin came to power. He allowed his friends to rob Russia's military and is now wondering "Why does my army suck so badly?"

We all thought that Russia would take Kyiv within days, install a puppet government, and takeover the rest of the country.

We were all wrong.

If Russia wants to bankrupt itself (AGAIN) by fighting a war that will just drag on (Afghanistan), I have no problem for them realizing their error by supporting Ukraine.

We are not DIRECTLY involved there are no troops on the ground, just EU/US weapons even little Canadian weapons . That's is exactly what it is very very big difference, calm down.

Germany had already invaded Austria in March of 1938 - without a shot. The Austrians welcomed Nazi Germany with open arms. Germany invaded Northern Czechoslovakia (Sudetenland) in September of 1938 - also without a shot. That part of Czechoslovakia welcomed Germany.
