Aljazzara hardly friendly to Western interest has even called Russia's claims of dirty bomb pretty much otter nonsense. They have had reporters on the ground for sometime now recording the situation pretty much on both sides but lately seems to be supporting the Ukrainian position because they have seen first hand the destruction and evil done by the Russian soldiers and the conscripts being treated like cattle.
Not surprising they would be willing to question any claims by Russia about dirty bombs. Ukraine has had issues but they where pretty quick to admit their mistakes Russia nothing but evil.

Aljazzara:
"
Russia has accused Ukraine of planning to detonate a radioactive dirty bomb and blame it on Moscow.

Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu discussed the “rapidly deteriorating situation” in the Ukraine war in calls with NATO nations on Sunday."
Without providing evidence, Shoigu said Ukraine could escalate the conflict with a dirty bomb – a device that uses explosives to scatter radioactive waste. It does not have the devastating effect of a nuclear explosion, but it could expose broad areas to radioactive contamination.

“The purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction in the Ukrainian theatre of operations and thereby launch a powerful anti-Russian campaign in the world aimed at undermining confidence in Moscow,” the RIA Novosti news agency said on Telegram.

“The calculation of the organisers of the provocation is that if it is successfully implemented, most countries will react extremely harshly to the ‘nuclear incident’ in Ukraine,” the post said. “As a result, Moscow will lose the support of many of its key partners.”

Russia provided no evidence to substantiate its allegation."
"
“If anyone can use nuclear weapons in this part of Europe – it can be only one source – and that source is the one that has ordered comrade Shoigu to telephone here or there,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his nightly video message.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said “Russian lies” about a dirty bomb “are as absurd as they are dangerous”.

“Firstly, Ukraine is a committed NPT [nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty] member: We neither have any ‘dirty bombs’ nor plan to acquire any,” he said. “Secondly, Russians often accuse others of what they plan themselves.”"

Shoigu even talking about the 'powerful' backlash if Russia use any weapon of the sort.

Russian leaders might be tactically inept, but they aren't so stupid that they think anyone will be convinced Ukraine attacked themselves with a nuclear weapon they don't even have.

If they do that, they're fucked.

I'm of the opinion that NATO should go to war with Russia, in terms of kicking them out of Ukraine. I think the threat of nuclear war is just an excuse for NATO not to have to go hands on.
So, NATO should enter a war with Russia over Ukraine which is not part of NATO. Once said war starts, Ukraine will be irrelevant. It will really be a US vs Russia war. The US makes up 75% of NATO, the other European countries will only get involved if the US gets involved. You are willing to roll-the-dice on a nuclear conflict? If it goes nuclear, no one will come out the victor. Least of which Ukraine.
So why is NATO so reluctant to enforce a no-fly zone but sailing so close to the wind by operating that close to Russia when it's likely that we'll start shooting each other down which apparently is what will lead to WWIII according to NATO. It doesn't add up.
Having NATO planes in the air over Ukraine or NATO soldiers on the ground in Ukraine would mean NATO has joined Ukraine in its fight against Russia. Now, Russia can justifiably killing NATO pilots and/or soldiers. Why doesn't the US send a Patriot Missile System to Ukraine? Because it needs to be manned by US soldiers. The US does not want 'boots-on-the-ground'. NATO did not want Ukraine to join its ranks before this conflict and it still doesn't. Fact is, Ukraine is not worth a 3rd World War or a nuclear war. Zelensky can cry all he wants.

There is a pecking order in the importance of war:
. Resources (economy)
. Ideology
. Race
Countries in Africa where folks are mostly black does not count for much. France, Germany, and Great Britain where folks are mostly white counts for a lot. When was the last time the US military went to war over a mostly black country - to defend its people? Remember Rwanda (1994)? The UN was there (France) and did nothing to stop the genocide. A few countries in Africa needing American help right now who are just being ignored. Ukraine falls about at the middle of this scale. It has resources, but Westerners don't really care much for Eastern Europeans. Most Americans had no clue to where Ukraine was on a map prior to this war. Some still don't. Much like Iraq and Afghanistan.

Aljazeera is clearly anti-Russia in this matter. (Or they're objective, because reality is anti-Russia: it is true to say that they're the invaders and that civilians die in this conflict, mostly on the Ukrainian side). On news that don't touch Islam or the Golf Countries, they're pretty objective. They have these 'inside stories' panel where they routinely invite people from both sides of issue (for example, a Chinese official, a US official, plus some think tank person on the subject of the Uighurs; an Azeri official, an Armenian official and an ex-US ambassador to Turkey on the subject of Nagarno-Karabakh, etc.)

Just like the GOP, every accusation is an admission of guilt.

Any right-thinking human being is 'anti Russia' on this matter.

You're mostly right about not caring for Ukraine. It's exactly why the helping effort has been poor IMO. More words than actions really. Can't blame anyone though. Ukrainians seem capable of resisting even with not so much help and are tbh thankful of what has been sent so far. I see for example they like Boris Johnson, consider him a hero lol. What helps ukrainians at this point as equally as weapons is political support, even if it's rhetorics. They face a bigger stronger enemy that they see it can be finally hurt and isn't unbeatable. Just telling them they will win this, helps them a lot with morale at this point, because they'll fight till the end regardless. (Even if you don't send material help)

The west can (and at one point might) stop the help, but considering the developments one after the other, there's nothing suggesting the west should stop the support now. It's been something like 13 or 14 billion in total and tbh considering the scale of the conflict and the success it has produced for the defending partner of ours, it has been a worthy investment. Just my 2 cents.

Moving slowly over to the aid of Ukraine Israel I guess?

They are getting ready for drone warfare.

for a second i thought that the russian air force shot down a bunch of ukranian drones and i'm like booooo

then i realised it was the royal airforce and i'm like

I’ve thought since March/April that the west would get directly involved before it would allow a Ukrainian defeat and now it seems to be coming true.

I did not get the message ether other then say that NATO would get involved?

Yeah, quite cryptic, given we're miles away from either Ukraine losing or the West getting involved.
