Just referencing certain posters getting angry at me for posting western news articles. I'll leave it that I don't want to derail but just couldn't resist

Russia doesn’t need Europe anymore, they diversified their gas and oil sales thus they’re doing the gas squeeze in Europe now.

Russia has more than enough technology to continue producing missiles and armored vehicles. Given the fact that they have artillery and shells for decades, they can certainly do what they’ve been doing for years.
I have no doubt that they have more than enough old, clapped out kit to keep throwing it at Ukraine for years to come, but how many young Russians can they burn through before people start to question if ridding Ukraine of Nazi's is really worth it?

Will public support wane faster when Vlad dies in the not too distant future?

You do wonder why they have to fake these things if they were really succesfull in destroying them.:

I mean it wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve hit a few and don’t even know it. They’re engaged in a pretty nasty artillery war right now and it is probably hard for them to confirm kills. On the flip side of that, it only benefits the Ukrainians to deny it when they’ve been hit. As long as the Russians think those HIMARS are still out there they can serve as a deterrent.

I don’t know that any were destroyed. I just think it’s likely we will not know about it when they are.

Oh yeah, sooner or later atleast some are going to get destroyed.
But they seem to release some random ass video's of them "destroying himars", and its them hitting the 3rd floor of some appartement

Europe is in a much bigger trouble without Russian resources. And I’m talking about real Europe like Germany, France, not irrelevant countries like Baltics. It’s not possible for Germans to fully replace Russian resources especially for good prices that Russians were offering. Surely, Russia will be selling less, but with prices going up 500%, it will certainly create enough profit

Real europe doesn't have Germany and France.
They are irrelevant for NATO btw.

You will continue to sit here and post about them as " relevant " countries....
While they aren't relevant and aren't usable.

Might even apply to be part of Russia...I will not care...

Don't cry...
We all knew 20 years ago that they are not....relevant and never will be...

You are absolutely right, all the other almost bankrupt countries that cant hold themselves are the real europe. Germany and France are irrelevant. Not sure if it was you @Vergilius that said Sandis has some knowledge about something. Well, that right here should tell you everything.

Sigh it's tiresome to get up-to-date in this thread. Just a tonne of ranting everytime by the same culprit every time

Am I supposed to be seeing something significant in that red circle? The thing in the front isn't a HIMARS, it's one of these.

I was about to post something similar nice catch Russia is great at BS like really great a British researcher who has an AI setup scanning popular social media outlets like Twitter, Instagram, facebook and I think telegram she has detected 37 million fake posts on the social media sites a month a freaking month.

This is just twitter it must costs a fortune keeping the fake news flowing.
https://www.science.org/content/art...ster-true-news-twitter-thanks-people-not-bots

"
From Russian "bots" to charges of fake news, headlines are awash in stories about dubious information going viral. You might think that bots—automated systems that can share information online—are to blame. But a new study shows that people are the prime culprits when it comes to the propagation of misinformation through social networks. And they're good at it, too: Tweets containing falsehoods reach 1500 people on Twitter six times faster than truthful tweets, the research reveals.

Saw an article about people going to live to another country in autumn/winter, or selling their homes and leaving the country permanently, because the heating and electricity bills are too much and are pushing them into debt.

Feels goood to live in the countryside right now.

No, but for real, that was upsetting to read. We already struggle and now this.
The nostril with 2 cigarettes must be the one he used to snort all his blow. <mma4>

You've said they have no ability to retake their lands, but as was already mentioned... at this point this is a war of attrition. Ukraine doesn't have to win by overpowering the Russian military and forcing them out of all their lands. They just have to keep fighting.

Look at what happened to the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, or even the US in Afghanistan.
Anyone in Afghanistan going back centuries.

Wut those are literally the 2 strongest countries in Europe. France provides a nuclear arsenal independent of the US. If every other country in the EU dropped out a Franco-German partnership would be a force to be recknoned with.

What countries are "relevant"?

How did you get that 500% figure?

The price of oil has been steadily declining for the past 2 months. It's now at $90 per barrel, down about 23% from it's peak earlier this year.
