Russians are becoming very creative in thinking about ways how to fund their special operation.

Gotta love the effort though <45>

Lol they can go to Russia
Sure.
In russia there is mandatory military service with so called dedovschina ( this means cast system and systematic hazing etc. Ofc not in all army: it depends from commander and leutenants etc ......Otherwise; cast system and hazing is norm routine. ).
+ yeah, low fuel prices, prices for computers and mobile phones, good [ really good not good on paper ] furniture and household technique : like in U.K. + with Russia's salaries...
+ more or less normal mortgage in Moscow or St Pete isn't cheap at all. It is very expensive.

Ofc not all things in Russia are bad.
If Uni is good, they might offer for talented ppl good education in STEM field.

While...EU too + grants and stipends too.
In both: EU and Russia you have chances to get till PhD for free..

Seems like something in the Finnish model is the way to go.

Does Finnish model have all these things:
National Guard
Pro regular army
+ these mando conscripts as addition?

This stuff is Latvian minister of defense now is attempting to push.

While approved budget projects for 2022 and 2023 th are
with model ; National guard + pro regular army.
~2,3% GDP , next year ~ 2,5% GDP...

There already is clear that if mando will be added...additional funds will be required.

We don't have the personnel, the gear, the funds and the infrastructure to pull it off in full scale yet. It will take time to develop and reach full capacity.

But voluntary conscription does begin in January.

If you with gear mean assault rifles and grenade launchers... will be enough even in case of mobilisation.

If about other stuff then....

Infrastructure is one one thing.
Anyway no one anymore is keeping all in few large bases or warehouses cos this ia crazy risk ....

Legal stuff too takes time: laws approwed after discussions and they need 3 voting cycles done in parliament...
Etc stuff there and a lot...
+ elections in autumn.
Budget approval too does have 3 voting cycles in parliament.

I ofc better will see more equipment....

Not clicking on something called USSA NEWS sounds like something crated to spred fud.
Yeah kind of fascinating these sites I see people find as sources around here. I don’t know if the story is true or not but I clicked on the link and the site looks like a 20 year old blog.

The “story” is like two paragraphs long. One of the ways these sites seem to operate is by intentionally leaving a lot of details out. I guess it’s so they’re goofball userbases imagination will run wild.

Best part is who even cares if it’s true. Let them build a base there even. All of those countries listed. He’ll let them ship over a nice, sizeable invasion force. The. We can sink their navy and air forces and easily take out their troops as they run out of supplies. Way better than having to go to them to do it.

They can copy estonia as well. They got this weird mix of ours and soviet era stuff.

But mainly goverment has to support person while hes serving.Like for example here goverment pays for your living while you serve and its a big thing.

I got estonian friend who didnt serve in estonia simply because theres no support and theres risk of being homeless when you come out hence he ended up serving here

(Foreigners under 28 who get passport have to serve)

If about cool mass media stuff.
All sides are providing their own versions and propaganda machines are working + xxxxxx different attention seekers are from journalists till random dudes in internet...

For example; Russia's narrative for russian speakers is: they are fighting with " armed till teeth by NATO Ukr and ....even maybe vs NATO....and EU.".
LOL.....

One from most funny things is stuff they had created about С-300 delivered to Ukraine. In casual russian manner; we had destroyed before had been deployed.
While in reality such messages appeard. ~ 2 weeks after battery had been already delivered....Just cos then in media appeared news about battery delivered...
Next day: super news about destroying.

Next funny thing: some posters talked about " batteries "...Russia had destroyed ...
While IRL they had get 1 not multiple batteries.
Also if armed till teeth is to have 30-40 y.o stuff delivered for air defense...then we should start to think a bit with simple plain LOGIC...

Risk to be homeless in Estonia you have lower than in US or Russia...for sure...the same if compare with Ukraine...

Uni students doesn't have to serve like fulltime conscripts and Estonia is covering damn a lot of education for free even till PhD level + now looks that some programs even in english. If you are fulltime student.

While I agree that mortgage in Tallin and Tartu is expensive stuff to buy.
Moscow in good areas still will be more expensive.

Estonia is covering nutrition and medical expenses + accomodation for conscripts...

+ Estonia doesn't have dedovschina in army.

Interesting stuff is how they had turned country into more civilised and western european style stuff.
They allowed pepper sprays and CCW permits.
With this country relatively quickly form something like Harlem into something more close to Belgium and Luxembourg.
After some idiots had passed away instead of predicted " big win vs victim on da Tech Street...".
Estonia is one from most lenient EU countries regards to CCW permits etc....

Estonia is interesting cos they does have more like plain not progressive tax approach and looks that most likely are attempting to turn country into some hybrid of U.S and Belgium&Luxembourg & Germany.
Pros. support for education.
normal record for justified self defense cases, both armed and unarmed. It is really more fair country than U.K or Belgium, sorry for reality...
Cons.
Income disparity...
They are doing a lot but it is what it is...
Salaries in Estonia afaik might be from ~ 460 till ~ 6000 eur take home after tax paid per 1 calendar month....
Like this.

Do you happen to follow their "Great Reset Reports"

Btw I don't have anything against Venezuela.
They doesn't invade other countries and does not fill our areas with refugees.
Unlike Russia.

+ funny stuff about " europe advances near borders ".
Finland afaik is full EU member and eurozone country xx years.
Of course after threats from rising future superempire from Lisbon till Vladivostok they are seeking for better security. Cos they are smart and in no case dumb: they does know that we will sent our guys even before 5 th article bullshit will be even in discussion phase....
We do JOB not talks...few hours....not more.
If Finland will be full NATO member we will sent guys before 5 th article bullshit clerks will read first papers.
We will do this and Germany and France will be with 0 power to prevent real life to happen...in real world.

Bro pls believe me bro pls many himars destroyed, rusyan PGMs without the P pls bro you have to believe me bro also 300 polish mercenaries pls bro believe me.

It was a joke my friend because I'm well aware that Russia maybe moving to mobilising even conscientious objectors.

Russian Prisoners Offered Freedom If They Join Fight Against Ukraine:

AAZdzrw.img

"Relatives of prisoners serving sentences in the city told investigative media outlet Important Stories that the notorious Russian mercenary Wagner Group is offering to pay 200 thousand rubles ($3,446), and an amnesty, for six months of "voluntary" service in the Donbas region—if the prisoners return alive.

Convicts serving sentences in IK-7 "Yablonevka" and IK-6 "Obukhovo" in St. Petersburg were also reportedly offered a five million rubles ($85,873) compensation for their families in the event of death.

A relative of a convict told the news outlet that prisoners were asked to "defend the Motherland."

Newsweek is still trying to verify these events and claims.

The prisoners were first told that only those who had previously served or fought in battle would be considered. But a few hours later, everybody was considered, and some 40 people signed up.

"All this is only in words, it will not be recorded anywhere on paper. At the same time, all the information is not transmitted directly, but through the foremen [prisoners who help the colony staff manage the units]," said a relative of one of the prisoners.

The prisoners were told that about 20 percent would return, a relative said."

Reminds me of Red Alert 3, when you'd click one of the soviet troops and he'd say "Yes, Warden". Never failed to make me giggle.

If not posted earlier, disturbing interview the Ukrainian ambassador gave to the German press, praising a NAZI murderer.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Germany touts Nazi war criminal as a hero

https://www.americanthinker.com/blo...ermany_touts_nazi_war_criminal_as_a_hero.html

snippet:

....Both Ukraine and the USSR behaved horribly during WWII, including allying with the Nazis. Ukraine was especially gleeful as it joined the Nazis in slaughtering Jews within its territory. It did so with such vigor that even the Nazis were shocked.

Nor does it matter to me that the current President of Ukraine is nominally Jewish. So were the Kapos in the concentration camps and George Soros. The worst antisemites in the world have been Jews (see, e.g., Karl Marx, whose father had him convert as a small boy, and who went on to bake antisemitism into the socialist cake).

That’s why I wasn’t at all surprised to read David P. Goldman’s article about Andrej Melnyk, who insisted during an interview with Germany’s Die Welt that Bandera was nothing more than a freedom fighter:

239094_5_.jpg

Image: Andrej Melnyk. YouTube screen grab.

Germany’s leading center-right newspaper Die Welt posted a banner headline at the top of its page last Friday evening just before Shabbat came in here in New York: “[Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andrej] Melnyk’s statement trivializes the Holocaust.” In a radio interview last week, Melnyk compared Ukrainian Nazi leader Stephan Bandera to Robin Hood and vehemently denied—in the face of massive historical documentation—that Bandera had helped to murder 800,000 Ukrainian Jews during World War II. The Banderites also helped to murder between 40,000 and 100,000 Poles.

[snip]

Melnyk said, “Not just for me, but for many, many Ukrainians, he personifies the freedom fighter… and of course a freedom fighter… There are now written laws for those who fight for freedom. Robin Hood is also respected by everyone, and he also did not work according to the law current at the time.”

The astonished German interviewer said, “And you admit that he and his men were involved in the murder of 800,000 Jews?”

“No, he was not involved,” said Melnyk

The interviewer protested, “But it was his army. That’s what his men did. There is no doubt about that.”

Melnyk retorted, “You say, ‘No doubt,’ but there is no evidence. He was not convicted.”

“There is no evidence that he killed Jews with his own hands, but his men did!” the interviewer insisted. “He ordered the murder of 100,000 civilians.”

“He did not give the order to exterminate Jews,” Melnyk continued.

The interviewer quoted leaflets distributed by Bandera to Ukrainians as the Germans marched in 1941: “People! You must know this. Muscovites (Russians), Poles, Ukrainians, Hungarians and Jews are your enemies. Destroy them! You must know this. Your Führer Stepan Bandera.”

Later, writes Goldman, the Ukrainian foreign ministry refused to repudiate Melnyk’s statements, merely saying that they represented his “personal opinion.”

The worst thing about all of this, adds Goldman, is how assiduously the Biden administration and the American media are ignoring this grotesque Holocaust denial. Even American Jewish organizations are refusing to address the subject.

Here’s the bottom line: Ukraine is the “good guy” right now and nobody dares reveal that it has, not just feet of clay, but most of its lower torso made of clay. Russia is not our friend but neither is Ukraine. Despite their Western gloss, their values are very different from ours and we blindly alienate one and fawn over the other at our peril.
