"we never wanted Ukraine, just Donbas region"
Did they say that from the toilet??
"we never wanted Ukraine, just Donbas region"
whenever people start musing somewhere on the internet on Putin's inner desires of recreating the USSR or fear mongering about taking the whole of Europe this video should automatically be posted by a bot
i remember rachael weisz's assWell the criticism was levied against Hollywood. So that doesn't really factor.
As far as Hollywood WW2 films are concerned, Enemy at the Gates is clearly one of the best.
Incredible sets and special effects. Likeable characters acted well by good actors. Good story and pacing.
Historical accuracy and propaganda aren't really a factor.
Does Putin really expect Hollywood to put our Russocentric propaganda for him for free?
This one is the toughest to watch, but truly a masterpiece. Hollywood simply couldn't make something like this, watch it if you haven't already. By far the best WW2 movie ever made. "Come and see", directed by Elem Klimov.
. Why Hitler got it so wrong. Why Putin got it so wrong.
I'm sure I've missed a ton he's said, but that does not make the denazification stuff I've seen from him and ignoring realities any more reasonable. Also, baiting for conflict and making Russians suffer is classic Russian tactic to justify escalation. If you read the history of Donbass it's pretty clear that Russia has been more the blame on breaking Minsk Ceasefire agreements. You came in late to threads
From average russian point of view like dex said in early threads, you could justify invasion by the fact that ukr had been shelling donbass civilians for 8 years

Lol. The west is getting a mild version of that lesson in how it works from a social political perspective. Keep your mouth shut and pretend to agree with idiocy unless you want to lose your job and be ostracized. The consequences aren't as harsh but the mechanism is the same. Whether it's religion, state sanctioned dogma or woke Nazis, a theocracy is a theocracy is a theocracy. And you best toe the line or become outcast. It wasn't constant lying per se , it was surviving in that system.
It was really wild thing, hard to imagine for 1rst worlders.
They have planes, drones, sea-to-air/land capabilities that have barely been used if at allDude, they suck at conventional warfare. I don't think we need any more proof of that. You want them to light Ukraine up with nukes? That wouldn't be so smart either.
And still you hold on to it like mad refusing to address the issues when I pointed out your bullshit.Mate, I literally stated in one of my earlier posts that de-nazification card is the weakest of our "reasons for this "special military operation" <Lmaoo>.
Sorry, Friday night. I might have misread you here. You came in late to threads
