Russia/Ukraine Megathread V6

Why haven’t they used their air superiority? Why so few firefights? Why haven’t they pushed further west from the south?

Having more planes doesn't mean they have air superiority. Their SEAD missions failed. NATO radar also has supplemented any radar loses that may have been inflicted. As long as NATO AWACS are in flight, Russia won't achieve air superiority due to the difficulty dealing with man portable AA equipment.

There are fire fights every day, not sure why you would claim there are so few. Heavy fighting has been going on in Irpin, Hostomel, and Bucha outside of Kyiv this entire week. Of course in Mariupol as well.

They tried to push west from the south, but they were held off at Vosnesensk then Mykolaiv, and now they're getting chased back to Kherson.

Me, for a month now: They don’t want the west
Russia never makes a serious push for the west
R/Ukraine posters here:It’s because they stalled and ran out of supplies and Putin’s a retard and you’re a shill reeeee

I don’t think Putin ever wanted Kiev, day by day it becomes pretty clear. Or, that he wasn’t prepared to escalate to that point, which was always going to be especially brutal and bloody for both sides

Lol, you dishonest lil shit. You, for a month….omg Putin's never gonna attack. Y’all be tripping etc etc

No serious push ? Ever heard the story of the Fox and the Grapes ?

I try not to comment on bullshit like this, but didn't you find it strange - in a shop's storage, man is standing ready with his phone in hands, ready to film. Then his female associate bring the cart with like 10-15 small bags of sugar and open the shop's door to troll over poor babushkas.
If I will shot tomorrow the amount of suger at my local shop and post a photo, will it be enough for you to validate there are actually enough food for everyone here?
:)
That'd be interesting.

I've mainly seen you pushing the denazification agenda. It's hard to take you seriously as anti-government guy when you insist defending their reasoning behind the invasion. I can't blame you for not knowing as much about history as people in the west, because Russian education has always been full of propaganda, but the way you evade every time you come in contact with unpleasant realities does not look good either. No bro points from me.

You literally made me laugh. Dude, your own arguments were always: "Your arguments are weak!" <Lmaoo>And you actually bring your likes/dislikes to discussion of political/military events and personalities.

P.S. And "neo-nazi" card was never brought by me, I was just educating my western friends in harsh realities they miss with their completely "unbiased" and "free" media sources :D. Meanwhile, I insisted on checking the info by yourself from all available sides.

What was the point of making incursions into these areas then? If they start pulling their forces back and repositioning them in the east before they’ve even had an opportunity to besiege Kiev and use the presence of force as leverage then their pushes into these areas have been literally pointless. They could’ve just used those forces to cut off the Donbas from the rest of Ukraine if that was their intended objective to begin with.

I heard a theory that they're avoiding air defenses by using long range missiles from within Russia, never entering Ukraine airspace.

Whether launched by air or land...

Grow a spine bro. The threads are there for anyone to read.

With Europeans going away from energy dependency from Russia, I bet USA is about to swoop in and make some serious $$$ with their export.

Actually, nobody saw it coming in such a manner. Was a surprise to me and almost everyone in Russia. I've read an interview with Hostomel airfield assault participants recently, they were like "we were 99% sure there will be a no-go signal before we saw cruise missiles flying overhead".

One theory I read is that they're using old WW2 tactics by utilizing weaker forces/conscripts in the north and west as some sort of bait, while their stronger forces are in the south east. It forces Ukraine to split up their military, but also leaves their men in the north exposed. Like with everything else, not sure if it's accurate or not.

Makes sense. And if you add that Ukrainians are fighting well, are well equipped and the territory is huge...we're seeing what we're seeing right now. Who knows.

Report: Russian military losses and lack of supplies lead to Putin requesting China send over General Tso and have him bring his famous chicken.

phew. i thought for a second they were gonna call for some anti-tractor mines and missiles

The alleged Russian casualties are crisis actors. All 4636 of them.
The 1351 "dead" are method actors.

lets not forget that it was russian radicals who killed all those dead russian peacekeepers and civilians too!

Not a very good theory.

Their forces in the east are having just as much trouble, they just have the benefit of shorter supply lines.

They've been held up outside of Izium for weeks now which is preventing any type of encirclement of the area.

Based off of their performance thus far I can definitely see how they would think something that moronic would work.
