Apparently he compared the plight of the Ukrainian people under the Russian invasion to the holocaust. That’s a pretty dumb thing to do. If they were looking for a reason not to help that would be enough.

Don’t mean it as a jibe just a genuine question, did you really have no idea what connotations “final solution” had without google? Again I’m not trying to be a dick to you just genuinely interested. I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t view the term final solution as a holocaust reference but I imagine ww2/the rise of hitler etc is taught very differently in different places.

Yep 100%. It is what it is, i don’t worry about the rules here that much bc i don’t think they’re unreasonable but its just bizarre that one side culture in general can justify death, destruction, Nazism and fascist tendencies all in the name of “fighting fascism”

They don't support authoritarianism, which is why we need to have public executions of TV hosts who don't support going war, prosecute political opponents, no fly lists with no due process, and we obviously need to check papers to ban people who didn't take the injections we told them to.

BTW, these same people thought it was "authoritarian" to even have a border and not let ISIS, cartel members and MS13 move here just 3 years ago, and these same people who got multiple shots and boosters and want anybody who didn't get them banned from public, are now in majority support of going to war with a nuclear super power.
