Muslim religion btw too is initially created as peaceful religion.
In modern times this is for some ppl as Jihad Juhad death to enemies etc.

But hey everyone is welcome to their own opinions. BTW I heard Russia is running out of ammo lol. We banned imports of Russian ammo under Obama and the stockpile is gone now? Lol.

If any of you understand Russian ammo I doubt this is the case. It comes in spam cans with a can opener and will last many years. My last can I opened was 15 years old and looked new.

How is it not a war crime if half the targets aren't terrorists and you are bombing residential areas under faulty intel?

I was trying to find any similar info on other Russian websites, you would think that they all report on defense ministry briefing, but nothing. Apparently, that's the only website that reported on a number of casualties. The number is extremely high, but in either case, I don't trust anything I read until the war is over.

Edit: what I mean is they don’t care how the world views them in terms of how we often consider these matters in the west. This isn’t a beauty pageant for them.

I think they definitely want to be seen as a nation that is not to be trifled with.

They do care about what parts of the world think though. They want their military to be viewed as strong for a few different reasons. One of them is that they also sell arms to other countries around the world. Who is going to want to buy russian tanks, armored cars, helos, etc now that they have seen the Ukrainians dumpster all that equipment with some rocket launchers from Nato countries like the US, UK, and cheap but effective drones from Turkey.

My point was, I guess, we weren't going there to just kill people and take their shit. We were hunting terrorists.
I agree, everyone wanted retribution after 9/11, I think most were confused when we went back to Iraq, I know I was.

Seems like a pretty stupid position giving all the information available about the conflict. Besides US, UK, German, and Ukrainian intelligence more or less agreeing on the rate of casualties, you also have random people on Reddit and other websites matching destroyed vehicles with public Russian records for fun.
 
The 10k dead figure is pretty likely bullshit guys, only a week or so ago the official Russian figure was 900. Just because something is nice isn't enough reason to believe it.

I'm not justifying civilian casualties and I believe its a way more complicated situation than that.
Just like I don't believe every civilian killed in ukraine is a war crime, but certain actions are. Intentionally targeting them, use of prohibited weapons. Hell, just threatening nukes against anyone that aides Ukraine should be as well.
