International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V13

I guess the most pro-peace option is getting Russia to realize ASAP that it's not worthy or sustainable to invade and occupy Ukraine

Maybe get both sides around the table for some kind of peace deal?

Europa and the US have thrown all kinds of crazy sanctions against them and gifted Ukraine billions worth of weapons, obviously that strategy isn't working.

That was always going to be the outcome. Some of us just didn't want to sacrifice the lives of tens of thousands of ukranians for a forgone conclusion.

You guys can say that makes me a russian shill idgaf. Seeing the way you bloodthirsty maniacs have reacted to the Ukraine and Israel situations I can see will never see eye to eye until you or someone close to you is sent off to fight.

Crazy to see so much pro war sentiment on here, but I guess people who are pro peace or don't care much aren't as likely to spend time posting in threads like this.
Neither of you are pro peace. You were pro surrender for the victim. Coleman you specifically got your peepee smacked a bunch because you came here spouting out long disproven Russian propaganda justifying the invasion followed by every shitpost move in the pro Russian playbook. So yes you do in fact support Russia in this and none of us are fooled about it.

Surrender would imply Russia gets to dictate all of the peace terms. I'm definitely not in favour of that at all. Stop making things up.

I read your solution that you would just bring them all to the table and peace would magically blossom. To bad for most of this war Russia wouldn’t come to the table unless Ukraine was willing to surrender. So really all you’re telling us is you were ignorant of the situation

I don't think Ukraine really has a choice but to fight. They have invaders on their land pretending it's theirs, and throwing bombs and missiles at them on the regular.

It's okay to be "pro-war" when the war being fought is just and reasonable.

Russia would surely come to the table if the peace terms both sides want are somewhat close. If Ukraine refused to promise not to join the NATO and Russia would demand full annexation, then yeah it wouldn't be feasible. Surely the international community can try and broker a peace deal instead of just needlessly prolonging the bloodshed.

Sure, Ukraine has a right to defend itself. But when it isn't going anywhere except thousands of fighting age men losing their lives then it's time to figure out a more peaceful solution. Currently this strategy isn't getting them anywhere. If there's no young men left there's barely any country left even if they somehow got Russia to back off completely.

I think you need to do some reading. You’ve definitely not followed much of this war

Unfortunately, with Russia still insisting on their invasion, Ukraine really doesn't have much choice.

Russia loves to blow up important civilian hardware, so it is what it is.

Ukraine has no choice but to stop them from doing that with impunity.

The prob is UKR doesnt have a choice, Even if Russia came to the table they would take no less then the 4 Oblasts they have already annexed which means UKR would have to give up territory they currently have. Would anyone in UKR agree to that? And would you trust anything from Putin or Russia and let them get closer to Kiev while rebuilding their army and getting ready for the attack in the near future?. of course the cost is high but UKR is willing to go through the pain assuming they get the aid to fight the invaders.

Whatever you need to tell yourself.

When are you shipping out again?

Let me be clear that I'm talking about what position western nations should have regarding foreign policies, not about what Ukraine is doing. I completely understand what they're doing and why.

But the west giving them just enough rope to hang themselves, meaning enough shit so Ukraine can keep on fighting without having a chance to win, is very bad imo. Its almost as these kind of conflicts are designed in a way to keep on lasting for a long time.

Oh that’s right there was that time when you tried to call everyone a coward and and then by you me own standards you tried to make up wrote yourself out of being allowed to have an opinion! That was hilarious. Also, shut up and move along

Well you must really care a lot about this war given that you've volunteered and you're going over to fight.

When do you ship out?

Nah you don’t get to change the parameters now. You already disqualified yourself from being allowed to have an opinion on the matter. It is fun watching you squirm though. Coward- again, your words not mine <45>

I want the conflict to end. I want them to negotiate. You want people to die.

So because A person supports a country that has been attacked and suffered a lot of destruction and death they are required to join the army? And you also are required to support the country who has done the killing and destruction otherwise you support war?....Very stupid take
