Kremlin says Russian economy ready to handle more sanctions
Sanctions have boosted domestic industrial production, officials say.
Russia’s economy has adapted well to Western sanctions and Moscow does not fear the prospect of more such measures, the Kremlin says.
On February 25, 2022, a day after Russia undertook a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the European Union introduced wide-ranging sanctions intended to send a clear signal to Moscow that there would be severe consequences for the war.
The bloc has imposed 11 sanctions packages to date and last week said it would work to shut down loopholes in the existing measures. EU officials have suggested the sanctions could remain in place for years.
“Russia has been living under a sanctions regime for quite a long time, for decades, and we have sufficiently adapted to it, so such time horizons as five to 10 years do not scare us,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.
Russia said sanctions have boosted its domestic economy and industrial production.
Some observers argued that the sanctions have been circumvented and have failed to deter Russia in its war against Ukraine. According to a report by the Norway-based risk consultancy Corisk – which analysed customs data from 12 EU countries, Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan – the circumvention of export sanctions on Russia amounted to about 8 billion euros ($8.5bn) in 2022.
Western countries and Kyiv says Moscow is engaged in an unprovoked war of aggression in Ukraine. Moscow accuses Western powers of using Ukraine to try to weaken and undermine Russia’s own security.

What kind of sanctions for decades?
1992-2014 Russian trading deals with west had only increased each year.
" Decades with sanctions " is idiotic bullshit.
Even after shit with Crimea Russia easily had by passed sanctions cos Belarus, Armenia, Georgia proxies .....
Some a bit more real effect from any sanctions Russia had started to feel after in 2020 th Lukashenko get in crazy mode and had ordered to intercept western owned passenger airplane with .. casual civies on board. Ppl from xx countries actually. In order to catch some Noname blogger .....damn.

Russian special services have tried to recruit Ukrainian youth to commit anti-Semitic provocations in various regions of Ukraine.
This is claimed by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on the Telegram social media.
According to the SBU, the Russian special services have gone after school students between the ages of 13 and 17. In the attempt to recruit the young people, a Telegram channel was created, where right-wing content was shared, which was, among other things, anti-Semitic.
As an example of an anti-Semitic act, the SBU mentions that a 15-year-old boy was ordered to write anti-Semitic messages on one of the memorials in the Zhytomyr region.
According to the SBU, the anti-Semitic content was then shared with foreign media in an attempt to discredit Ukraine.

All their relationships with West had been from rejection till refusal to sell any heavy weapons even for real money paid immediately.
Then next beauty when West had relocated their embassies to Lvov and removed from Black Sea their warships....so there even mentally handicapped ppl might see Realpolitik in real life. Exception are clowns and lazy money hungry idiots.

I’m not disagreeing but what Russia has been doing around Adivka is insane, They took out around 5000 men and hundreds of armour pieces. They had to be well supplied to hold off as long as they did and still can against mass suicide missions.
