The Ukraine government, headed by Volodymyr Zelensky, has been using American taxpayers’ funds to pay dearly for the vitally needed diesel fuel that is keeping the Ukrainian army on the move in its war with Russia. It is unknown how much the Zelensky government is paying per gallon for the fuel, but the Pentagon was paying as much as $400 per gallon to transport gasoline from a port in Pakistan, via truck or parachute, into Afghanistan during the decades-long American war there.

What also is unknown is that Zelensky has been buying the fuel from Russia, the country with which it, and Washington, are at war, and the Ukrainian president and many in his entourage have been skimming untold millions from the American dollars earmarked for diesel fuel payments. One estimate by analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency put the embezzled funds at $400 million last year, at least; another expert compared the level of corruption in Kiev as approaching that of the Afghan war, “although there will be no professional audit reports emerging from the Ukraine.”

“Zelensky’s been buying discount diesel from the Russians,” one knowledgeable American intelligence official told me. “And who’s paying for the gas and oil? We are. Putin and his oligarchs are making millions” on it.

If this was true wouldn't russia cut off the fuel to them that they would need to continue fighting back? That would be the easiest way to get an upper hand.

We are not starting WWIII over the Ukraine, get that fantasy out of your head. Nobody has an appetite for a global nuclear war that kills the majority of the world's people.

Well he was talking about Russia attacking US planes on Poland so...... yes we would go to war over that. Unless we just dissolve NATO and the USA.

If they attacked our troops that are just kicking about sure. The two near attacks by Russian planes on our planes were actively working against them.

Working against them makes it fair game? Somehow I doubt you would apply that standard for the USA to attack russians

MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. Ukraine will cease to exist as soon as Western countries stop funding it, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev wrote on Telegram on Friday.

"As soon as Western funding ends, Ukraine itself will come to an end," he pointed out, commenting on Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s remark that Ukraine is financially and economically insolvent.

"The thing is that nobody needs it (Ukraine - TASS)," the senior Security Council official observed.

lol Hersh the hack gets another rube.

Do you have a SECRET level clearance? Go to any US military installation (ID and proof of said clearance) and sign on to a classified computer.

Exactly.
Do I have to be an SOF operator to know when a stupid choice was made?
Why don't you check the units that fall under the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).

That would be the U.S. Marine Corps, not 'core.'
Where does the USMC budget come from? The U.S. Navy. That makes them an element of the U.S. Navy.
Why exactly was the USMC created? Something about Naval Infantry.
There are levels of security clearance. What level are you? When did you get out of service? I am calling bullshit.

What would you do with the goat herders and their goats? Kill the all the goats before escorting the prisoners? You know silencers aren’t that quiet, especially in cold weather.

Yeah, and about the Marines, I was quoting on how ironically wrong you were by saying that Navy Seals shouldn’t do land operations since you said that the Marines a department of the Navy could.

China approved “provision of lethal aid” to Russia in its war in Ukraine earlier this year and planned to disguise military equipment as civilian items, according to a U.S. intercept of Russian intelligence revealed in leaked secret documents.

The intercept, apparently obtained through U.S. eavesdropping on Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), was included in a top-secret summary, dated Feb. 23, of recent Ukraine- and Russia-related “products” compiled by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. It was among a number of previously unreported documents that The Washington Post obtained from a trove of images of classified files posted on a private server on the chat app Discord.

Sigh

I think he means Russia swallows it up.
When west stops the funds Ukraine cant defend it self and its easy for Russia to take it all.

And that appears to be Putins only hope. He's going to continue the grind as long as he can and wait for the aid to stop. Unfortunately for him the chances of that happening now are very slim, it seems the West is "all in" for UKR to see this war out and a Russian defeat.

China just came out this morning and vowed not to provide lethal aid to any party.

Likely in response to this. But also probably lying.

What are you talking about? You should reread my post you quoted because I literally said I would want our guys doing the same in their boots.

Come on dude

Well for obivious and simple reasons Brasil, China and India like Pakistan doesn't want to see " too strong russia " in any case.
Especiallly for India and China most lucrative stuff is to press any commodities sold by russia prices as low as it will be possible. It isn't " bad lazy europe " where russia had 0 problems.
With India and China for each contract you need to prepare 2 -3 days just to discuss about 1 cent per barrel difference in short term contract.
They will talk nice and polite talks and use anything to drag price lower and all this with polite smile and nice friendly talks.
It is hell.

Russia's prized Spetsnaz commando units have suffered a 95% casualty rate in Ukraine, leaked documents and photos show

"Russia's elite Spetsnaz commando units have suffered enormous casualties in Ukraine.
Leaked US documents show that some units have suffered 95% casualties.
Russia may take decades to rebuild the units, according to US estimates.

Satellite images of a Russian base show hugely depleted numbers in one Spetsnaz unit, with the leaked report, obtained by the Washington Post, claiming two units suffered 90-95% casualties.

The Department of Defense documents attribute the heavy losses to the reliance of Russian military commanders on the elite units for front-line combat. It could take up to a decade to replenish troops in the unit, the documents said.

Special Forces are not a "Leatherman" all-in-one tool. They are used for specific (special) missions and tasks. Putting them on the frontline meat-grinder is just throwing them away.

Russian tank captured by Ukrainian forces turns up at Louisiana truck stop

The combat vehicle was left on a low loader in the parking lot of a restaurant in Louisiana

"A Russian tank used in the assault on Ukraine has mysteriously appeared at a truck stop in the US.

The T-90 tank is thought to have been captured last September by Ukraine’s 92nd Separate Mechanised Brigade, after being used in fighting in the Kharkiv region of north west Ukraine.

The combat vehicle was left on a low loader in the parking lot of a restaurant in the state of Louisiana.

Local reports suggest that after the truck towing the tank broke down, the vehicle was left at Peto’s Travel Center and Casino in Roanoke, Louisiana, next to US Interstate 10.

Valerie Mott, the assistant manager of the restaurant, said: “I’ve been here seven years. I’ve never seen [a tank] here before,” according to The War Zone, an online publication.

Although the tank’s machine guns had been removed, much of its equipment appeared to be intact, including some explosive armour used for defence against anti-tank missiles.

Slab blocks on the front of the turret, each about the size of a folded copy of the Telegraph, would at some point have housed explosive reactive armour.

The tank’s owner and intended new home are unknown.

A US army spokesman at the Red River Depot in New Boston, Texas, about 240 miles north of the truck stop, said the tank was not going there.

“This tank is more than likely not heading to Red River, as we don’t refurbish any of its kind here,” the spokesman said."

I think most of these units got fucked in the initial invasion. They were sent way ahead into major cities in light vehicles and they got slaughtered without any support.

They really thought Ukraine would just give up when they crossed the border.
