I just did. The thread looks so much cleaner.
Sure, btw he is even more delusional than Putin after coke portion: this anyway is capable to admit Rosstat and Central Bank's reports as possible reality....
Putin at least does have balls to admit that GDP decline had happened, inflation does exists and he will increase pensions cos this.
He is crazy and still not so dumb like trolls and propagandists....

It's almost like being an asshole has real world consequences....

An influential Russian military blogger who called for an escalation of the war in Ukraine was killed when a bomb exploded in a cafe in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Sunday, in what appeared to be one of the most high-profile attacks on a supporter of Moscow’s invasion.

The blogger, Maksim Fomin, who was more popularly known as Vladlen Tatarsky, was giving a public talk in the center of Russia’s second-largest city when the explosion ripped through Street Food Bar #1 Cafe, the Russian Interior Ministry and investigative authorities said.

Videos posted on social media showed Tatarsky receiving a small statue in his likeness onstage shortly before the explosion. An independent local news outlet, Fontanka, cited a witness as saying the blogger had received the statue as a gift from a woman who introduced herself as a sculptor called Nastya.

Another witness said Tatarsky had asked the woman to bring the statue to him, after she said she had been told she could not take it inside because of bombing fears, according to the Russian tabloid Komsomolskaya Pravda. About 100 people had gathered at the cafe to listen to him speak about his experience as a military blogger, Fontanka said.

At least 25 other people were injured in the explosion, with 19 of them hospitalized, according to the city’s governor, Aleksandr Beglov.

Tatarsky represented a radical wing of pro-invasion bloggers and activists who backed Moscow’s war but also criticized what they saw as the flaws in the Russian army. In recent months, he appeared to have grow increasingly pessimistic of Russia’s war prospects, saying that only a major overhaul could secure a victory.

He was critical of Russian military commanders and highlighted the problems of the Russian army. In a recent video, he suggested that nothing would change if “you replace the defense minister or chief of the general staff.”

“We need to change the system,” he said.

His death was the most high-profile attack on a prominent war supporter inside Russia since August, when a car bomb killed Daria Dugina, the daughter of an ultranationalist Russian supporter of President Vladimir Putin’s.

U.S. intelligence officials later said they believed the attack had been authorized by parts of the Ukrainian government, which denied any involvement.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, suggested that the attack was a sign of internal fractures in Russian society, in line with Kyiv’s usual description of acts of sabotage in Russia since the war began.

Podolyak wrote on Twitter: “Spiders are eating each other in a jar. Question of when domestic terrorism would become an instrument of internal political fight was a matter of time.”

Russian officials pointed the finger at the government in Kyiv, without directly accusing Ukraine of killing the blogger. Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Tatarsky’s work had “caused hatred” of the Ukrainian government.

Sergei Neverov, deputy speaker of the Russian parliament, said, “It is clear to everyone who is behind it.”

how did they antagonize nato? by moving their country near nato?

youre right its not nato expanding east towards russia, its russia moving its country west towards nato

it all makes sense now

Well, that's exactly what happened when Russia annexed bits of Ukraine. Russia moved it's border West towards NATO.

You think there is absolutely no effect on war moral when your leader literally just a few days before says the city must not fall because then my country may turn on me, only to have it fall a few days later?

LOL you guys are so beautiful <45><45><45>
You can't be this naive surely?

No it will not have any effect on morale (not moral) because unlike you the Ukrainians are not that dumb! The Ukrainians have already suffered tremendous losses throughout this war, do you think they really care about an empty shell of a city that has already been shelled to the ground? They have suckered Russia into stupid manoeuvres since day one and this is just another example. Bakhmut is a killing zone for the Russian's. They are being slaughtered at a rate of 7 Russian's for ever single Ukrainian. The Ukrainians will keep this up as long as they can.

And Zelensky has been playing Russia the whole time, in fact he's been diplomatically very clever throughout this whole war. Even when it came to dealing with the US he really wasn't afraid to pile the pressure on to get what his country needed. Ukraine will hold Bakhmut until they start losing too many men compared to the Russians. Then like they have done in many other regions they will make a tactical withdrawal and let Russia take Bakhmut. Then when the Western tank battalions come online they'll likely take Bakhmut back in a week or two just to completely demoralise the Russian troops and more importantly the Kremlin.

I agree that Joey is a troll, and not the same kind as grimballer either. Grimballer is a genuine authoritarian who believes it would be good if Russia won. Joey doesn't even believe that, only posting because he's amused that people even take him seriously enough to bother responding to him. Grimballer lies about facts to paint the picture that Russia is doing well, Joey lies about even caring about any part of the conflict.

Everyone who bothers responding to him are just making fools of themselves in entertaining someone who delights in people wasting time believing that he cares.

You are right. I find Grimballer rather more worrisome because I'm sure there are many more out there like him with his delusional mindset. Joey is just a clown looking for attention.

Olson told The Sun Online that Putin is now in a "no win" situation - with the war either devolving into a grinding statelemate, or ending with Vlad's death.

He said if Putin stays in power he will never give up the war - and so the way to end it is for Vlad to be killed or ousted.

Olson, who served for over 30 years in the CIA and won medals for his service, explained that things don't look good for Putin - with either his oligarch pals, his military, or even his people set to turn on him.

Putin has lost more than 170,000 soldiers, according to Ukraine, since the start of the conflict as his war machine continues to grind forward at a slow pace.

On a side note adding to this story when the Chinese President visited Putin told him negotiations are off the table. He said there is no situation where Ukraine will agree to any Russian demands. Basically it arranged the visit was to press China into contributing more.

It's so bad that even Putin realizes he cannot stop an only hope West cuts back on support an Russia can get back areas lost.

Nobody thought the soviet Union would collapse, until it did.

Ukrainian's continued backing likely relies on them being able to mount a meaningful offense this summer. If they're able to recreate the Kharkiv offensive or force another withdrawal like in Kherson, their backers ain't going anywhere. If Ukraine fails to show competency this summer, eg.... if all donated equipment is squandered taking back a few blocks of rubble in Bakhmut, their future backing is probably at risk.

Are China supporting Russia or taking advantage of them? Seems like the latter to me, there's historically zero trust between these nations.

NATO will keep feeding Ukraine, it's in their interests. Ukraine have shown to be more than up to the standards of any other part of NATO in terms of ability to do a lot with little and they are the perfect buffer zone bordering Western Russia to add to the soon to be Finnish border. I worry though that NATO's aim is to bleed Russia dry so they end up posing absolutely no threat to anyone, rather than just quickly defeat them and allow them minimise their losses. So more blood will end up being split. I am quite cynical though.

I'd been saying this since early in the conflict when Ukraine repulsed the Russians from Kyiv. There is no way out for Putin now so he has to keep doubling down. It's pretty evident the way he keeps killing off critics. He's terrified.

and hitler had huge approval rating in germany, so what's your point? any dictator has huge approval rating when country is under attack and people are told their own survival is at stake.

Hang on, when exactly was Germany under attack? Germany started WWII you numbskull.

so wait,

does russia want all ukraine or just part, which one is it?

you contradict yourself there, but it's understandable considering entire western msm narrative makes no sense and you just mindlessly parrot whatever youre told by that same msm.

also i see you like talking about having another man dick in your mouth, you talking from personal experience there? in reality youre just expressing your feelings towards kiev comedian

You are too stupid to even get the point.

Putin does have 0 tools to press China or India.
Russia for them is small nation.
Xi in case of conventional war might offer approx 10 mobiks vs 1 russia might deliver.
They does have nukes.
Also after month will have ~ 14,5X more money and precious metals...than " ruSSia " does have....
Imagine to ' press ' China by Kremlin?

- Calls for war to escalate
- War escalates right into his face

There's something to that, I think.

Literally, 'be careful what you wish for'. Want death and destruction in the name of war? Get death and destruction delivered right to your front door.

That's why he is mostly in hiding and prob has a massive army just protecting him. Especially when guys like Girkin formed "The angry Patriots" of whats going on and says Russia is heading for defeat. He even made mention of seeking power. However when Putin falls the power vacuum will be interesting to say the least.

great and russia is now moving their nukes to belarus and hellsinking will be also a target of their nukes

its brilliant strategy by finnish politicians
