On March 15, the U.S. Institute for the Study of War reported that the Russian offensive slowed down.

"Russian offensive actions have decreased significantly over the last week and noted that daily Russian ground attacks have decreased from 90 to 100 attacks per day to 20 to 29 per day," the report said.

At the same time, British intelligence believes that Prigozhin has lost access to recruitment in Russian prisons due to ongoing disputes with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Prigozhin himself claims that a private military company has stopped the recruitment of prisoners in Russian colonies for the war in Ukraine.

Aren't that the same experts predicting his deathbed for the last 10 years, demoralized troops, crumbling economy?

Anyone know any centrist news website I can turn to? I am sick to death with Western propaganda at this point. And no I don't wanna pro-Rus sites either. Just something that presents facts based on the information available. Western sites blowing shit out of proportions and I mostly tune in for cringe factor but I wish I had something I could actually read based on facts and not experts opinions.

The only thing I have atm is Ukr/Rus War report on reddit. But its mostly war footage but at least shown from 2 side perspective although authenticity of the material could also be quesitoned.

Pointless attempting to try find a centrist view unfortunately mate. There is no " war reporters" for either side. It's all generic information released by both governments. Legitimate reporters especially centrist don't exist in this conflict.

Those that are allowed to report are those that accept the terms of narrative. From either side.

Otherwise there would be countless articles of the insanity of the meat grinder . Casualty rates of troops , reports from hospitals etc etc. Its insane how people have become accepting of soldiers dying and I quote plenty of posters in here " in a battle that has no strategic importance regardless who wins " ( Bakhmut)

Plenty of people seem to prefer it this way though. It's far easier to support Ukraine if you don't have to hear about the fathers brothers sons dying over a battle line that has almost existed for what almost 8 years now ?

I mean we hear far more about what's being donated / loaned to Ukraine than any reality of the situation on the ground.

Our once great U.S. Army Infantry now ruined by liberal policy (equity/woke). Thankfully these females Infantry soldiers are small in numbers in both the U.S. Army and Marine Corps. Results from a USMC study has been dismal. Not good for the US military and not good for NATO. Why make these comments on camera and go public? Graduation day for me and my comrades was special. We felt proud and invincible. Little did we know what was waiting for us in a few years. How are Russian and Ukrainian female soldiers faring out in this conflict?

The United States has notified some of its partners about the confirmation, according to the sources.

The confirmation came as Chinese leader Xi Jinping plans to travel to Moscow for a three-day state visit from Monday. In his first trip to Russia since its invasion of Ukraine began in February last year, Xi is widely expected to reaffirm his close ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In talks with Xi, U.S. President Joe Biden warned him of serious consequences if China provides military support to Russia for its war in Ukraine.

The way the equipment was timed to arrive in Ukraine and the way Ukrainians received just enough to hold Russia in Bakhmut and the region feels like Lloyd Austin, General Milley and and NATO are coordinating the timing and the efforts on the ground as they ready for the spring offensive.

It seems they this time realized Bakhmut offensive over the winter was to not give Russia oxygen to hand over Bakmut and allow them to regroup. It was costly on the Ukrainian side but more so on the Russian side but now the equipment is arriving Xi seeking a cease-fire but this could give Russia time to regroup under the new push by Ukraine. Now the cease-fire talk while Xi visits Russia could be smoke a mirrors for Russia to regroup and put more people on the battlefield.
