Rumor (on twitter) Daniel Cormier is limping

Even if it is real, maybe he's just hurt with a bruise or a little sore, if he was on crutches then I'd worry

If this is true, I swear these guys need training regulations and limitations enforced somehow. This is just far too frequent in MMA compared to boxing. It's tougher training in MMA, but all these injuries have to be from not training smart or safe.

He's got a few weeks to get better, I'm hoping it won't be another last minute pull out. If he pulls out, I doubt Jones would want to waste time fighting anyone else, esp since DC also holds that belt.

It's a good idea for Cormier to start playing up that he is far below 100% heading into this fight. How else can he justify continuing to fight or wanting Jones trilogy if he loses again?

Alot of it yes. But when you factor in grappling and striking, there's where your injuries are at as well.

Holy shit,I am well knows shill?
Damn man,I should be getting paid

You keep parroting about UFC pay and other stuff that we don't care about. We wanna see fights out here

BJpenn.com used to be a well organized and respectable site... what happened? went downhill just like BJ's career

My first reaction to this was dissapointment. But it is likely that this is just because he trained too hard the day before. Leg day sucks.

But then if he's out it's Anthony Johnson who will become his replacement and the man himself has already said that he's ready to fight on short notice, even in the heavyweight division if need be and I don't think he will pull a Jose Aldo Jr here, he said because he mean it.

In that case, if Cormier is injured, to me it's better for him if he doesn't face Jon Jones out of all people in the world he is the last he wants to fight against without the best preparation possible.

It is unknown how good Jon Jones will be looking like as he comes back, people say he doesn't have the best work ethics in the world, that he's just really talented and learns really quickly, but he isn't a hard worker and you know, aging does NOT work well with that at all.
So this could be Cormier's best chance.

was he wrestling or only observing?

If he was wrestling, Im surprised that the UFC would allow his participation

That article actually says he was barely able to talk, so it seems more like shitty reporting than anything to worry about.

It's likely nothing, fighters limp all the time from training. For all we know he was sparring with some with really good leg kicks the day before.
