I think it's pretty obvious Conor would be forced to give up all his titles. Would be one of the worst business decisions ever made. Take off for 2 years after becoming the first to ever held two belts at the same time? He would be at the height of popularity and fame and could make HUGE paydays. Dumb if true. Hope it's not.

When you grow up, having a family is not seen as a business decision. When having a child, nothing else in the life matters including money or fame....even for this narcissist.

To be elite you have to beat elite guys.

Porier has never beat an elite fighter.

The closest thing Nate has beat to an elite fighter are Cerrone and MJ, but one was 5 years ago(very different Cerrone, Cerrone now would kill him.) And Nate only had 2 weeks.

Holloway is elite now, but when Conor fought him he was like 20 and had fought nobody good.

If Conor beats Alvarez, these will be his notable wins in order

completely disagree. Poirier is a solid fighter, but hes not an elite lightweight (eddie, rda, khabib, etc)and he wasn't an elite featherweight. (jose, edgar, conor)

This is all Dana's fault for running his mouth in that one interview. Neither Conor, nor his team, have said a damn thing about any time off. What a distraction.

For what it's worth I do think he plans to take time off. People like to give Conor shit, but he has established a pace that can't be continued. He built his name and built his brand and should take a little time off to recharge if he feels he has to. He seems tired.

They'll take both belts off of him and he'll be able to fight whomever he wants when he returns.
