Rumble would make easy work of Romero at Light Heavyweight. Agree or disagree?

Yoel looked impressive at UFC 225 and seems to be getting better with age. However, Rumble KOs any version of Yoel brutally in the first round. Gets it done via left hook or left high kick in my humble opinion.

What do y'all think?

Disagree. I really want to see that fight. He isn't known as crumble for nothing.

If Bader and Davis couldn't take down Rumble, I'm pretty sure Yoel can't. Plus, even DC couldn't take Rumble down in their rematch before Rumble stupidly elected to wrestle himself.

Nobody makes easy work of Romero.

Romero would probably beat Rumble.

Rumble is a beast but he doesnt like it when you push the pace.

Disagree. Rumble is a quitter. Romero is a late killer.

It will be easier to wrestle with the risk of eating a Cuban missile, and vice versa.

Thatd be an awesome fight to see. I think rumble would win. Yoel isnt the type of grinding wrestler dc is. Yoel likes to stand. I dont think any one can stand with rumble and not get put out at light heavy.

He would have a 5 inch reach advantage and their striking power is absolutely incomparable. I'd heavily favour Johnson to deliver a brutal knockout early in the fight

I think Rumble KO's him fairly early, as he does most of the fighters at LHW and MW.

He's never Crumbled on his feet, though. If Romero brings a wrestling-centered game and wears Rumble out, he could win. But if they stand, I'd heavily favor Rumble. And remember, Cormier was the only LHW to successfully wrestle with Rumble. Phil Davis and Bader both failed. I'm sure Jones would've taken Rumble down and beaten him too, but Romero is harder to say. Despite his credentials, he doesn't have the best MMA wrestling IMO.

Romero would turn Rumble into a panic wrestler worse than Vítor did.

Who has made Rumble quit in a striking war? If the fight looks anything like Whittaker vs. Romera Parts 1 and 2, Rumble has the edge.

As good as Rumble is, he´s a quitter, he has no fighting spirit, and has no heart. He has a quitter mentality and there´s a big list of fighters like that. Its a shame because he´d be so much better.
Romero at LHW might not be the best due to his relative small size, though all he needs vs rumble is to get him down or use wrestling on him and he quits. Quit versus DC. And punch him a bit and he wants out. If h ecant get you out fast and knows it´ll be a long fight again he´ll quit.

He just has quit written all over him. He´s still beast, and could Ko romero, but romero is still so sturdy, not as much at lhw, but even whittaker who hits so hard, it felt like he didn´t do all too much damage on romero when he was just standing there

Romero definitely could beat rumble and vice versa. but lightwork - depends. It could be lightowrk the other way around aswell. Romero doesnt have the best fight iq though, like when he stalled vs whittaker, and yes rumble should be the fav - but not right now i think, last fight he didnt even want to fight he just wanted out so he did all he could to lose as fast as possible. such a guy will probably not win when he just wants out, even though he perhaps should win easily.
