Scotland defender was clearly off his feet there, poor from the ref. Exciting so far!

Japan have looked superb, I thought Scotland had a decent chance of winning this but they're getting blown away.

Scotland got some 1v1 s and looked much better. Japan need to keep organised.

Things look quite different now.
2 Scottish tries and it's all Scotland.

That turned into quite a good match and the right side went through.

Great game.
Japan had real problems keeping possession in the ruck in the 2nd half

Great game and feel sorry for the Scots (once again) but fantastic for Japan.

Great game.
Somehow, the Japanese are a tough side.
Irish, Samoan, Russian(no surprise),and scottish scalps.
South Africa next... tough game. I honestly wouldn't bet against the home nation.

In New Zealand a draw is counted as a loss. Especially to SA. New Zealand only just beat Argentina by 4 points, whom people believe are a top 6 side. The fact is its not going to be a walk in the park for SA, Japan will come to play, and are highly rated to knock SA off.

It was a draw. If it counted like a loss it's because arguably the All Blacks were probably the slightly better team that day (IMO). Beaudy is so erratic kicking goals.

It won't be a cake walk for South Africa vs Japan, but I think it'll be a comfortable win. Jamie Joseph and crew are going to work hard to drill in the game plan to beat South Africa.

Even as a resident of New Zealand and All Black supporter, Im just as concerned that Ireland get an upset win here like they did in Chicago. Because its the first Tier 1 opponent they've played in 4 weeks.

Agreed. That's why I really wanted the Italy game to go ahead. Let the first XV get a good hard game in. Italy are the type of team that'll play with a lot of passion and push teams, especially early.

i think SA will beat them comfortably.

Don’t lie. Owen Farrell is your favourite Englishman. Or maybe Stuart Broad depending how long your memory is

I thought everyone's favourite Englishmen this year were Eion Morgan.... or Ben Stokes

I don't get why they couldn't play the match at least on other fields, behind closed doors.

Logistics and money I think. Probably not in that order.

Moving teams etc 150-200kms (which was the rumoured plan for one of the games that got cancelled) in a typhoon is probably not easy.

Also read somewhere that the TV guys didn't want to show a game where there was no crowd. It'd be at least interesting... It's remind me of MMA fights in Japan where it's deathly silent and you can hear everything.

The only thing I like about Owen Farrell is how much fun it is to see him get shoulder charged. Eddie Jones always has one good season with every team. This is Englands first good season since 2003, next year you'll all turn on him as his ego runs the team into the ground.

Their best season with Jones was a few years back when they won a Slam and beat the convicts 3-0 in their own backyard.

Eddie Jones has been one of those coaches that are finishers... There are a few coaches that seem to be able to get the most out of a team over a short period of time.. but keep them there for too long and the players tune out and the team is terrible.

In Kiwi league circles, "Bluey" McLennan is one that springs to mind. Great with the Kiwis in that he can inspire the players over a short 3-4 week window... Put him at the helm of the Warriors and he couldn't get much out of the team over 9 months. In his defence, the Warriors are.... no good but it's a huge swing from his successes as the Kiwis coach. It was probably way too hard to drive that sort of passion over that long period of time
