I guess I see it more as star within the sport. As in, future top talent, in the mix, popular amongst fans, etc. Not so much celebrity status outside of the sport. Though one can lead to the other.I look at it as I don't care how popular a fighter gets. If I support them I'd like to see them go as far as they can go and I'll like them whether they reach the top or not. But I don't worry about who's the next Conor McGregor. A fighter's financial and celebrity status isn't what I watch them for and it doesn't benefit me.
