Why is it between those 3, TS?

Am I misreading the last poll results or something?

Completely different eras so very tough. Royce made MMA, Fedor was amazing in Pride and Silva was UFC champ for such a long time with great highlights and during a massive explosion for the UFC.

I go with Silva but that is a personal bias.

All 3 of these fighters are iconic, even if sadly I'm too young to have know Royce's period of dominance... Fedor & Anderson OTOH, I was there, and the older Emelianenko's was the most impressive IMHO, especially since nowadays he would very likely n=;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

From 2003 to 2010, Fedor would have been the betting favorite in a open weight MMA bout against anyone on the planet, and he was more of a LHW than a real HW...
He was also the only MMA GOAT to also be the GOAT of another combat sport, as he would be been the favorite in combat Sambo from the early 2000s to 2008 (the year he beat Blagoy Ivanov, but lost the immediate rematch, his first Sambo loss at world level)

WAR FEDOR

When I say UFC to some random on the street, Anderson Silva is one of the few names that everyone knows and everyone ties in with mma.

If I named Fedor to some random on the street they would think I'm an immigrant who can't speak the language.

Fedor is a goat but not iconic in the slightest. This poll is definitely bias toward hard-core fans who love Fedor or consider him the goat which whether he is or isn't goat is irrelevant.

Royce is a fine choice but I'll go with the GOAT fighter, icon and human being whose peak 20 years ago still represents the pinnacle of the sport.
