NOTE This is not a hate or troll thread. It is a factual analysis.

Poor Ronda. Everything was going perfectly until the 15th of November. Huge media presence, once in a lifetime etc. Then she got embarrassed and violently KOed

and we have all seen the pics of her with her pillow and having put on weight.

She gets an immediate rematch with Holm when she's ready, but there's no way she can ever bridge that striking gap, and she is staying with Edmond and is up to her eyeballs in filming etc. so all signs indicate she will get it even worse in the rematch. And she has said she has to beat Holm or she will retire. And now after years of talking sh*t about Cyborg and refusing to fight her, Cyborg is coming to the UFC

and the relatively unknown Leslie Smith has taken a fight with her at catchweight, which Tate also agreed to but Ronda noticeably didn't.

Ronda is going to get rekt again by Holm and then Cyborg is coming for her, by the time she is finished with Ronda they will be cleaning what's left of her and her ego up with a mop and bucket, I know karma is supposed to happen in your next life but maybe they made an exception in this case.

yup when she loses the title fight they brought cyborg in to get one last payday out her

ronda has 1 loss and has destroyed the current champ twice. i think you're going a bit overboard.

Kinda what happened to Gina Carano ,- man everytime I see her in some movie she looks to have blown up another 2 sizes ..?

They managed to hide it well in Deadpool but you could see how thick & heavy she was... *wow*

Now that Ronda is a normal human again and not a once ever member of the avengers that can beat Cain and give us world peace, I don't really mind her coming back.

She is still clearly delusional and snotty but at least the brainwashed masses loaded to capacity on the hype train have escaped the train wreck and hopefully become normal, non crazy fans.

You are right though, It looks like after the Meisha win that the UFC may have wanted to attempt to push the train back on the tracks, but I would say that things look more dangerous for the fighter that everyone was convinced was indestructible.

Holly showed what can happen, and she is still able to take Ronda off the apples, Meisha has shown us that she can be consistant and make any small opportunity count, even when it looks like she is down.

Cyborg gets to prove that she is the destructive force in the ufc that she has shown to be everywhere else, we will have to wait and see. Cat is still possibly lurking and I don't think that the first fight was a good measure of what he can offer. Nunez is a lesser skilled Ronda imo, but still dangerous.

Now that Ronda's invincibility has been smashed, she may have a far more difficult time being dominant.

Would still hulk-smash

That one loss DESTROYED Ronda's fighting career.....she's done with fighting, you won't see her back in the cage unless it's on a movie set.

Some of these statements are taken out of context.
Idk if Ronda said that she has to fight/beat Holly, but if she did I'd imagine it was when Holly was champion.
Tate was saying she'd fight Cyborg @ 140lbs a couple years ago. I'm not so sure that she would jump up in weight while she's the current champion ala Penn/McGregor. I think she was lobbying for her 3rd match with Ronda by saying that, but now she's surpassed them both ranking-wise, so now Tate has a big target on her back, but it's up to her who she gets to fight next

Ronda could easily walk around at 135 to 140 lbs as she doesn't get ripped or severely dehydrated to make weight after all. She just overeats and puts on a lot of unnecessary fat to hit her peak weight just like Johny Hendricks. Unfortunately for her, it seems she really went overboard following her loss to Holly.

That's all well and good, but it's still up in the air whether RounDNB will ever fight again.

Seriously, how many schoolyard bullies return to the fray after someone stands up and DESTROYS THEM in front of the entire school... And on top of that, RoundOgre has a HORRID personality disorder...

exactly, JUST ONE LOSS made her a semi retired athlete.
even right now we can only speculate when, how and IF she's coming back.
and she did it in just a bunch of months, becoming a whale included.

and TS is even too much good, a lot of casuals (the Ronda's fan army) are still thinking that she's on the set of Roadhouse right now.

Miesha Tate Thinks Ronda Rousey Will Have 1 or 2 UFC Fights Before Retirement

UFC star Miesha Tate reiterated her belief that Ronda Rousey's MMA career won't last much longer, saying Rowdy has only one or two fights remaining.

Tate spoke to ESPN.com's Brett Okamoto about Rousey's future outlook in a report released on Wednesday:

I think one [more fight] if she loses and two if she wins her comeback. That's the most she'll do. I just think her mind is elsewhere. I've heard her talk about wanting to be a mom -- that's not something that has crossed my mind. That's a big change in career path. Maybe she was already looking to retire. She was already talking about it, saying, "I want to retire undefeated." She was talking about it before she lost to Holly [Holm in November]. I think that was already in the works. Now, she has lost to Holly and is taking a year off. That's the other thing -- any time I lost a fight, I wanted to get back in there immediately. When I lost to Cat Zingano [April 2013], I freaked out. I literally freaked out. I was calling [UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby] every two seconds saying, "Get me in there now." They were actually putting together a fight against Liz Carmouche in Seattle three months later because I was losing it that much. And here's Ronda with a completely different mind-set, willing to sit an entire year. Makes me think where her objectives are.

These remarks about Rousey are a bit more sensitive than the ones Tate shared with SI Now's Maggie Gray, when she criticized Rousey for having suicidal thoughts after her loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

"I thought that was a big sign of mental weakness, to be honest," said Tate.

To be fair to Rousey, she had never dealt with defeat before as a UFC fighter until November and had been prominent in the public spotlight, building her brand on a perfect record. That all went away when Holm knocked her out.

The glory Holm could bask in after her breakthrough triumph over Rousey was short-lived. She proceeded to take on the challenge of a short turnaround, fighting Tate at UFC 196 earlier this month. Holm lost via submission by way of a rear-naked choke in the fifth round.

With appearances in multiple Hollywood films under her belt and the interest Tate mentioned of being a mother, Rousey does have other things going on outside of the Octagon.

Even if she were never to fight again, she has already proved to be a pioneering UFC force as the first women's bantamweight champion. Given the competitive fire Rousey has demonstrated in the past, though, she seems bound to return for at least one more bout.

Gina retired after the beating that Cyborg put on her.. Decided a movie career was better than getting hit...Ronda may be of a similar mindset.
