Pure trashperson
GTFO. I've only owned GMs, including three Camaros and I still appreciate that badassery of that car.

There was 5k+ anniversary editions built. The convertible 5.0 efi manual versions bring a higher than normal price, but the rest aren't collectible. If you have the 5.0 carb'd version, the price is about the same as a normal fox body.Oh nice, I believe they made 1200 of those models so I'm sure it's not many out there anymore. I saw one a while back at Mecum or some auction that brought insane money
Always liked that paint scheme. Crazy that body shops had to sign government documents when they had to buy that paint for repairs. Guess they also used the same color changing pigment for money and were worried about counterfeiters.

Whatever Steve MacQueen drove in Bullitt. That’s the best ‘Stang.Roush is more of an after market car, Shelby is made in conjunction with Ford, correct?
So resale value goes in favor of Shelby, I would assume.
Which is the better souped up Stang?
there's a lot of ZL1's and Hellcats where I am, so a GT350 turns more heads. They have a more limited production and way nicer exhaust note too. As far as performance goes, 99% of owners are not coming near the limits of a ZL1 or a GT350 (the Hellcat is pure trash performance wise except on a drag strip). Camaros and Challengers are so different from each other that I don't know how they get compared. It's like stepping into a yacht after driving a speedboat.ZL1 or Hellcat for me...
Mustangs are kinda cheesy. yes it's iconic, yes it's arguably stylish. but when every 3rd f body you see is a mustang actually unless it's a GT 500 or Cobra you don't get a second look.
ZL1's are rare on the street the Viper and Hellcat are even more so,
so when you do see one it turns the headz
From 83 to 93 a gt mustang would chew up and spit out a z28, they didn’t have an ss until 93 again anyway. Not that I've been in this debate for very long, but I've always felt that the GT, in almost every generation where they competed, was outperformed by the equivalent SS and that Ford always had to resort to limited production models to compete with a basic SS. That said, the SS seemed to always have a higher sticker than a GT.
Either way, Coke vs Pep...err...Ford vs Chevy. Buy what you like.

Also the Shelby GT500 is coming this year with over 750(!) hp.
They released this teaser shot
As for the OP's question- Shelby is now owned by Ford so they manufacture them directly. Roush is an aftermarket tuner, but they have a special relationship with Ford dealers and can retain warranty. Dollar for dollar, Roush mods yield much more power than Shelbys provide but they have worse resale value. Think of it like BMW's M division vs Alpina.

His is t a true mystic paint job, a lot of ones were done in that area that were close, but not the true ford mystic color.Always liked that paint scheme. cant argue the sound...I placed aftermarket headers and two flow masters on my ole school Camaro and couldn't come too close to the growl of the GT
I may be thinking about 1200 anniversary converts
