Rountree's lack of coverage is appalling

He beat a former title challenger in a co-main event in his last fight, he's not in a bad position. He'll probably get someone like Krylov next and if he wins that he's in proper contention.

I think he gets a UFN main event next, or a PPV co-headliner against a big name.

No one won that fight. Honestly could go either way, about as close Rose vs. Carla was.

Was a shit performance by Romero either way. Couldn’t ever be a fan of either Izzy or Romero after that fight.
Ye he could have put a stamp on it, a lot of people myself included think he won 1 2 and 5 though, as an energy conservation tactic he was extremely successful, but his shot placement in the 3rd and 4th could have been much better, he was getting old and had been in some wars at that point though

He's been in the UFC for the last 7.5 years. I feel like he had a little push/momentum coming off of the Gokhan Saki KO, but then he lost 3 of his next 4. 2 of the losses were finishes. He's been on a good run as of late, but I don't think his track record indicates that he is quite elite. Split decision over Dustin Jacoby. Chris Daukus is a punching bag for the entire division. And although Anthony Smith benefits from company guy privileges, he's never been anything but a gatekeeper. Everyone ranked above Roundtree likely dusts him imo

He wasn’t even tired though after the fight. I think Romero just kept trying to find the perfect moment, and it never came, so he just kept waiting and then he waited into the fight being over.

Nobody in the UFC or MMA fans seems to GAF about him, yet he's up there with the most exciting fights and record.

Just because he is a modest, soft spoken guy, he gets no attention from the Karen crowd, nor gets any opportunity.
Leon Edwards.

Win fights, be a good person = no one cares.

Be an asshole, lose fights = men have weird homosexual obsessions with you like Connor.

Goodpoint. Maybe he has an implicit "damaged goods" tag on him following his post Saki run. But fuck that was a fewyears ago.

The difference is romero was truly elite and there was a lot going on in his head when he would wait to explode, while khalil throws 3 leg kicks against a guy who can’t defend them and then asks for a title shot
He hasn't looked all that elite in Bellator.

He could be more popular if he is more consistent. He has some huge exciting wins, but he has also had some losses mixed in in the past.

Rountree is a fucking savage.

You think Trevor from GT5. That's Rountree.

Just don't stand with a straight leg in front of him lmao. What a scary mofo.

Bisping be like: I suppose you didn't want to end the fight like this and Roundtree was like, yeah nah I totally wanted to break his knee with a stomp

His win over Dustin Jacoby, albeit not particularly exciting, should've been talked about a lot more as it was a huge upset of the time. He has had a great run making steady improvements over time.

I remember him having some decent hype around here for a bit. Then as usual...

You think izzy won that fight? Erm….
Well, I dont think he "loss" that fight lol. We as fan took an L on that one. But you cant do almost nothing and then expect to win the title. It was Romero's Job to go out there and take the belt. He honestly shouldnt have even gotten that shot. He owes that to Izzy calling for it.
To be clear, Izzy didnt do much either. But I felt he did just a tad more than Romero.

Ugh, that Rose/Carla fight was awful and an awful representation of Rose. It fit Carla perfect, but Rose hadnt been in alot of boring fights until that one. Carla on the other hand is only in boring fights. Rose messed up and over respected Carlas ground game and was too gun shy. I hated thats how that fight went. I also knew as soon as it was over and Carla won that she would be losing her belt to Weili. The UFC really wants her as champion to help get into China. Kinda like Khabib and Russia. They want them to get that GSP rub and bring a whole country with them. But if that was going to happen with Weili, it would have already happened. I mean, she had only won 1 fight since losing back to back title fights. 1 of which seen her KOed. But, thats Dana/UFC privilege for ya.
Back to your post, Are you a fan of NNN? I would assume not as him and Lewis put on the exact same performance with probably less action. Shit happens I guess. I dont think anyone would have predicted the NNN/Lewis fight being one of the most boring fights in HW history. And neither have really had the same performance since.

If you think adesanya did more than yoel then fair enough, I completely disagree but fair enough. If you think yoel lost cause he should have taken the belt then I can’t agree, that’s now how it works. you say yoel did almost nothing so he didn’t deserve to win the belt, but if adesanya only did a tad bit more then why does he deserve to keep it?

No one thinks he even beat Jacoby, the media scores the fan scores the general sentiment and most importantly watching the fight doesn’t point to a khalil win
