roundhouse is more powerful than a baseball swing?

I can kick harder than swing with a baseball bat. I can confirm the guys I train with kick harder than they can swing with a baseball bat as well. There is more force behind a roundhouse kick, but a bat is harder.

When you swing a bat, you are grounded on both legs, meaning you can drive more power because your grounded much wider. I think there is more force behind a bat swing than a kick.

Because the material of a bat is harder . Has nothing to do with how much force is being generated.

True, but the wood in question is a hardwood and in this case there is a lot more wood in the bat than there is bone in the leg, so imo, there is significantly less deformation and dispersal of energy from the wood in the bat during contact as opposed to the leg/bone (which also has flesh/muscle factoring in)

Plus a bat imparts it's energy in a smaller area. Force is dramatically increased as the contact area is diminished. Just ask small pokey things.
