My point is Rose is still the A side here regardless of her being shot. Rose has mainstream appeal, most people don't know or care who Natalia Silva is, and she's a godawful decision machine anyway...but it's Natalia's time to bore everyone to death in a 5 round title fight. If it wasn't for Rose she would still be on the prelims.

No idea what you mean saying if it wasn't for Rose Nat would still be on the prelims. She's filling in for Grasso. If it wasn't for Grasso Nat wouldn't be fighting on this one at all. That has nothing to do with Rose.
It's probably more because of Nat and Grasso that this on the main card now, not because of Rose.
They're trying to push Nat to a title shot. Nat's last 3 fights have all been on main cards, and one of them was a PPV. None of that has anything to do with Rose.
The UFC love Grasso and that mexican market. There was bigger fights on this card so they weren't making the main until the Kayla fight fell apart. If Rose was fighting Grasso, they'd have probably been moved to the main card thanks a lot to UFC's annoying love for Grasso, but if Rose was instead fighting someone like Maverikc again, for sure they'd have bumped up Figgy/umar instead.
The fact that they pushed up Rose/Nat is more due to them wanting to push Nat further towards a title shot next. They don't even put Rose on PPVs anymore. Last time was 5 fights ago when she lost the SW belt.
