Namajunas is being slightly misquoted; instead of doing strength and conditioning training, she does more fun/less boring activities like chasing her dog, shadow boxing, and punching tennis balls being thrown at her. That's in addition to her regular training .


She's injured, deal with it.

I didn’t know the extent of her injury. I also felt like Andrade had earned a title shot. But I have no problem with her fighting KK for #1 contender while Rose heals up. I just felt like Andrade had already done enough to warrant a title shot.

The thing is, Andrade did have a recent title shot and got demolished. She has had 2 fights since, and won both by decision. She(Andrade) even said herself after her last fight that she needed to finish the last fight to really prove she deserved a title shot. The way JJ cleaned out the division prior to Rose beating her made it so that there really isn't a clear person deserving of a title shot. What is nice is that whoever does get the next shot is a fresh matchup.
