Rose Namajunas deserves some respect

She still hasn’t fought since Esparza

She would have if the split decision had gone the other way.

EDIT: Actually, you're just talking nonsense through and through. Half of her title wins were decisions, one of them being a split decision. She also only "avenged" her loss to Andrade via split decision in a fight where she was clearly fading by the third round.
She still won the fight tho lol.

There's no quotation marks involved

I don’t think beating Andrade in a 3 rounder where even Rose admitted she was getting busted up in round 3.

Is quite the same as losing her belt to Andrade. One of those wins is clearly more important than the other one.

Do you think Rockhold prefers beating Bisping by sub. Or do you think he would have rather won their second fight instead?

I thought Weili won the rematch btw.

33% of the media voters thought Weili won as well. 14 - 7.
Last time I checked that's a small minority

Her last performance was embarassing, she deserve all the hate she gets.

Wealthy famous people tend to shell up. They insulate themselves and try to live their life.

Paranoid people tend to do the same thing.

About Rose: she's nice. There's no way she was ever going to beat Joanna or Weili. By beating both of them twice, she cemented a legacy. She's never been the sharpest tool in the shed. She has some self-professed mental issues.

They smoke a lot of weed.

A large body of evidence suggests that frequent weed use contributes to paranoia, schizophrenia, and other psychological problems, at least in some people.

Barry's dominance in cornering the Esparza fight came across as delusional after the fact.
Rose has struggled with his presence in the past. She even stopped using him as a cornerman for at least one fight.

Their reactions after the Robertson affair were delusional. Made excuses. It was like Rose thought she was going to win easily, and didn't know what to say or do after she got steamrolled.

IMO, weed is the predominant factor driving their decisions.
Are they wealthy and famous, or paranoid, or both? Not an easy argument to win.

Rather than debate it, my suggestion is to search pubmed for peer-reviewed articles examining links between cannabis and various psychoses, and also to watch Rose for ten more years. Time will tell.

There has never been a single intelligent reason to suspect that the effects of mind-altering drugs are transient. The brain is an exceedingly complex electro-chemical organ. If chemical exposure changes how it functions, what reason is there to think that it returns 100% to the pre-exposure state after the chemical has been filtered out of the bloodstream? To what extent does repetitive exposure contribute to cumulative effect?

Of course she deserves respect, she's very talented and has delivered some amazing performances. It's hard being a fan though, her performance against Esparza was one of the worst ever in MMA history and she's a mental case. Not a mental case to the extent one feels sorry for her, she's too sane/aware and it makes it even harder when she acts like an idiot and doesn't seek professional help and leaves Pat Barry.

For Rose to get that respect from the majority of the MMA community again she will need to make serious changes in her MMA career

Take her life back and get rid of Pat Barry

Train fulltime with Bullet or another high level camp

Grow her hair long again (Bullet has her hair long and she was a long time former defending champion)

The excuse about it gets in her way and how she doesn't want to be "sexualised" for having long hair is just some brainwashed garbage that Pat forced on her

She needs to find the strength to free herself from the clutches of Pat Barry if she is ever going to move forward because right now with the Carla fight and that showing in the grappling match against Robertson it's not looking good

Your sub 80 iq isn't intended for thinking. Stop the pseudo psychology on people you don't know lmao. You sound like a scripted bot.

I'm not denying she won the fight, but to me "avenged" has the connotation of giving it as good as you got. Eking out a split decision against a person who slammed you on your head the first time around can't be as satisfying as winning by finish or even unanimous decision.

It would be like if some criminal killed your family member and you managed to get them to serve prison time because you were able to dig up evidence for a tax evasion conviction. Sure, they're being punished now, but have you really avenged the victim?

Rose clearly won the first 2 rounds in the Andrade rematch, so it should have been UD. The jugde that scored it for Jessica was probably sexting during the fight.
