I just saw a commercial for 223 and it was focused more on the Rose v Joanna matchup. Anyways I feel as if Rose has been almost on radio silence since she won the title. Probably just a case of her keeping it simple and still focusing on training, but I am surprised she hasn't done more media. I guess Nunes also gets zero push as well.

Edit:I know she is a lowkey person and is mellow. I'm just a fan of hers and I'm hype for 223. If she doesn't have the buzzcut, they would probably be pushing her more though I think. I remember that one season of TUF she had like half the screen time...

She is always quiet - win, lose or draw. Wish more champs were like her!

Ufc didn't want rose as champion,she's to hard to market. They already have a h/w champ who's just a regular type guy and a ww champ who complains more than he fights.
 
In the past, on tuf, it felt like she got emotional a lot. Maybe over time she took a path of more focus and silent, to over come this weakness

She did a ton of press soon after the fight. Just go to youtube and you'll find a bunch of interviews in random places.

Then she ... ya know ... probably started training or something.

lol that's fair. I think she is just a lowkey type of person and she has a buzzcut so she isn't getting too much crossover push.

Rose has made it very clear that she's not interested in lots of public engagements and social media. She likes privacy, and being outside of the public eye.

She's getting prepared for that Joanna backlash... this could be fight of the night
 
Tbh rose should and could be one of the biggest stars in mma.. she doesnt even need long hair..or change her image.. just engage with the public more.. at ufc london ufc had pvz on stage with bisping and youd think it shoulda been rose doing that PR work but now you know why ufc put there eggs in ppl like pvz.. they are willing to do the other part of the sport.. rose isnt.

I mean rose literally shaved her head to avoid being the "hot fighter chick" so obviously they can't and shouldn't sell her sex appeal.
 
I love the shaved head thing she has going on she's great. I heard her on JRE with Pat Berry which was good. But I haven't actively searched for bytes since she became champ.
