Rory MacDonald Plans on 'Destroying' B.J. Penn

Bet Penn is trying hard to refrain from serious trash talking... Can't blame him after what happened after UFC 94.

B.J is waaaaaaaaay past his prime to be fighting a up and comer as good as Rory. He should have stayed retired cause he's gonna get embarrassed

After the beating Penn took from Nick-do you really think he would come back just too take an even worst beating from a kid from Pierre's camp...and besides, Penn is now fighting in his natural weight class-he dosen't have to cut any weight before the fight, and the weight he put on will be muscle-thus, he'll be strong and not frail and dehydrated.
 
He's such a gomer. You can tell he's trying to be all like ****y and tough guyish. It just makes him look like an idiot. BJ by death.

I disagree. Everyone knows what BJ is capable of when he takes a fight serious. If Rory didn't train with GSP he wouldn't get the hype he's getting right now. I'm not saying that BJ will win, but people acting like he's going to get steamrolled are crazy.

BJ isn't even top 20 anymore.
This is Rory's fight to lose. BJ only has a puncher's chance in this fight and if he does somehow manage to get a submission it will be because he managed to catch Rory with a lucky punch and then went in for the submission.

I agree.. I think that people are writing off Penn like the dude is nobody. I'm going to laugh when he chokes Rory out...

He's copping some hate from the B.J fanbase, but that's expected.

He's got laser like focus, an iron will and no time for anything but fighting, who cares if he drawls and seems dis-interested during interviews?

A bit of Hyberbole, but I don't think BJ is a good test of any GOOD WW these days. He's certainly not in the top 10. I have serious doubts he even makes the top 15, so where does that leave us in the rankings? 15-20.

I'm a Rory fan, but if he doesn't crush BJ, he seriously does not deserve the hype he has been getting or BJ really is back. Lulz.(I can't even think of BJ as a contender with a straight face.)

Nothing would make me happier this Saturday than seeing Rory absolutely demolish Penn. Likely won't happen that way as Penn isn't all that easy to dominate.

I get the idea that if Rory beats BJ he'll get as much hate as Jon Jones after what he did to Shogun

The only chance Rory has is if he can get BJ to the ground and beat on him. You know B.J owns Rory on the feet and in the submission department. Punchers chance my ass
 
I never listened much to the whole motivated BJ Penn thing, but he does appear to be in very decent condition (visually at least) with some added size to go with it. It would not surprise me in the least if he caught Rory with something big in the first whilst looking fantastic early on, but I also think his chances will greatly diminish as the fight drags on.
