Rory MacDonald Plans on 'Destroying' B.J. Penn

There's a big difference between BJ. Penn and a Mike Pyle or Che Mills. IMO all the talk about Rory being a shoe in as the next champ is ridiculous.

Mike Pyle has proven himself as a formidable gatekeeper in the WW division. He has respectable wins over Hathaway, Almeida, and Neer. Anyone who dismisses Rory's performance's over both Pyle and Mills is an idiot who doesn't know shit about the sport imo.

John Hathaway was looked at as one of the best up and comers in the WW division, until Pyle ended that hype train. The UFC wanted to see if Pyle could do the same thing to Rory as a prospect as he did Hathaway. The UFC was looking for Pyle to be their prospect gauge or prospect killer. That's the difference between hype and the real deal. Hathaway was hype and Rory proved to be the real deal. It wasn't just that Rory beat Pyle, it was how Rory beat Pyle. What Rory did to a proven veteran of the sport, less than 5 fights into his UFC career, is something to take very seriously, unless you are completely and utterly stupid, which you may very well be, and in that case are forgiven.

The UFC was also beginning to hype Che Mills as a "killer". If Mills beat Rory there would have been a huge Che Mills hype train. Che, taking the Rory fight was probably the biggest mistake he could have ever made with his career. Che Mills would be looked at as a much better WW prospect and perhaps potential one day contender, if he did not take the Rory fight.

But if those wins don't prove anything to you, remember, Rory already showed he is the real deal, two fights into his UFC career. Two fights into his UFC career, at 20 years of age, Rory gave the former WW interim Champ and undisputed #1 contender an extremely tough fight. Carlos Condit is also way better than BJ Penn. It's now close to 3 years from that fight, and if you think Rory isn't that much more prepared, that much better and more capable, well I think it's pretty clear that I think you don't know shit about the fight game, poser.

Ive got a feeling you were crying uncontrollably while you typed that. Anyways, I agree w/ you that Mike Pyle and Che Mills are tough dudes and good wins for Rory, but lets not get carried away and pretend like there world beaters. If you think Rory is going to come out
and smash BJ and that he doesn't have a chance in hell, then fine by me, its matter of opinion. I disagree with that though, I think BJ has a great chance at winning this fight, and that Rory is a little over hyped at the moment. Nonetheless, I'm sorry my opinion caused you to get so emotional. Dry your tears and have a nice weekend.

Did anyone see Motivated Penn face off against Rory right now? RORY YOU'RE DEAD!!!
