Rory MacDonald lost again in PFL

UFC doesn't miss on too many of these fighters when it comes to knowing the right time to let them walk or at least adjust the offer to an amount they can live with on the decline of the fighters career.

Even Coker was smart for letting him walk also. That weird ass speech he gave was all you needed to hear to know Rory wasn't in on MMA 100% anymore and probably hasn't been since the Lawler fight.

Not too mention Rory does very little to actually help promote himself.

Honestly, Rory looks like a shell of himself recently.

He just lost to a top 30 ranked Ray Cooper III. Rory got dominated on the ground for 3 rounds, couldn't get of his back. He also didn't win the striking exchange. It was a comfortable win for Ray.
Rory is now 1:2 in PFL. He was 3:2:1 in Bellator.
Rory is only 32 years of age and can't seem to find his rhythm outside the ufc, he is losing against lower ranked fighters.

He found Jesus and lost any fighting sense.
3:2:1 is a generous bellator record that draw was a gift from 2 blind judges.

I mean he beat Tibau pretty clearly.

And Cooper beat him because like...Cooper is good.

Just because you lose outside the UFC does not mean you are washed up. Rory is very good, he's just not elite. Cooper III would absolutely beat some ranked fighters in the UFC.

Rory beats a few good fighters then runs into good fighter and loses now.

Which is the same thing that happened in the UFC... and likely what would happen if he stayed in the UFC or Bellator.

He was never some unbeatable deity. Rory was an excellent fighter in reality, but the hype of him being the first "built from the ground up" MMA guy was much bigger than his actual ability.

The one loss in Bellator was to the significantly bigger 185 champ so the balls it took to do that deserves respect. He also has a terrible decision loss in PFL. Fighters lose. Also, Condit and Lawler took a lot from him. Condit was his second fight in the UFC at 19 years old.

Too much of a step up in competition for Rory. Should have stayed in ufc

People don't even remember Wonderboy lighting his overrated ass up.
Idk a lot of people don’t like WB so I think people remember the 2 title shots or getting kod by Pettis. 1 thing that impressed me is that he outgrappled Rory also in that fight & had the dominant positions when it went to the ground.
