My younger cuzn has just got into lifting n was watching a youtube vid of Ronnie talkin about diet and slimming down his waist. So he said during one year of his olympia run, that he always kept his weight belt on during workouts and sometimes outside the gym. He claims that it worked, his philosophy was that it kept his abs constantly tensed up.

What do you guys think of this technique?

Developing your core muscles leads to a thicker waist.

Can't having pressure on your stomach make you less hungry and eat less?

I think duct taping your mouth would work better than wearing a belt all day.

I think that it makes very little sense and is not something I would do. Especially as a weightlifting belt should be too tight to wear all day.

This is why I stopped doing heroin. Having that belt around my biceps all the time kept them skinny.

Ronnie Coleman also takes a fuckton of supplements and has little to no idea what each one of them does...I'd take his advice with a grain of salt.

prolly the pressure negated all the growth signal to his intestines from doing like 40iu's of GH a day.

Thicker obliques and naturally wide hips give people the "blocky" look. This is actually useful if you want to squat heavy.
